This, and the Little Red Express, was Dodge's way of attempting to keep muscle cars (trucks) alive for a little longer. Trucks had loopholes around emissions laws so it's pretty cool Dodge did what they did.

The 74 w200 I had as a teenager had that same grille. That thing was a tank. Club cab with the full box. Adventurer package and that truck was heavy duty for it's time especially had a worn out 318 so we put in a freshly built 360 with mid rise intake 650 4 barrel carb and a rv cam and then various other things. Glad I had the opportunity to own and drive an old vehicle for awhile before eventually upgrading to something more fuel efficient.

The Gremlin emblem always scared me. Under pressure from other school kids I once ripped that gremlin emblem off a car in the elementary school parking lot. They called it popping emblems. When I got it in my pocket and showed a few people I started to feel real bad. I felt that gremlin was more of a demon. It was haunting me. I went back 3 days later and pushed it back into the decklid holes from which I found it. That was just as scary as I was by myself and shouldn't be there during school hours in the teachers lot. I have no idea how long it stayed in it's original position without any real way to secure it but I do know for fact those little demons haunting me went away after putting back the emblem. After that I respected every single automotive emblem and script that existed. After that experience the only emblems "popped" were in the junkyard, where as a teen until years later, loved to go on Saturdays and see what I could find and spend $5 on. I have a rare set of 15" Olds rally wheels with a screw on cap which were 1973 only. That is just a few of the rare treasures I found in the bone yard. They got to know me and all I had to do was wave if by myself going in. I turned 54 today and am reminiscing on those times.

People also didn't take care of the wood panels on some these trucks. The little red express was very limited and the warlocks weren't that numerous also The power wagon was an even bigger flop It had stripes ,roll bar and grille guard from factory They then went to aftermarket conversion company's and suffered even more warranty claims lol
