My junk journals are filled with lots of colorful, fun things. Like yours but different. I do a happy planner with pictures and stickers for each day and then add in pictures and stickers. My new way to scrapbook. Then everything else goes in random junk journals. I have penpals too! ❤

I love this idea! As a teacher, I have a lesson plan book, a student journal where I keep notes about my students like test scores, behavior issues, books they are reading. I also have a daily journal I keep at my desk where I make my lists and stick stuff into it, make more notes. Combining them all into something like this would be perfect! Thank you for sharing!

Hi I really enjoyed your video. I love junk journals but haven’t thought of it as a planner! What a great idea! I too am a list person there every where. I currently use a bullet journal for my planner. But yes I find planners are to structured too. I like to design it my own way. I’ve tried so many. I got so inspired to try this junk planner.

I love this! It's nice to hear how people have taken ideas and made them their own and made hybrids. It's all about what works for you, isn't it? I know I'm a junk journaler at heart. I have a craft room full of pretty things but I actually find making cards for other people stressful. Sometimes I just need to create some things for me and the junk journal fills that space.

When you said you’ve tried all of the different planners, I totally related. I also save so much ephemera. I also have been considering combining my separate journals into one. I have recently started a comp book for my planner. So many similarities. This video helped me put my thoughts together. I’ve also used comp books for years and it feels like a return to something important to go back to this process. Can’t wait to watch a few of your other videos to see how you made them. I love this. I am a planner girl but more importantly I have to have a brain dump/ lists for everything. I also have home/recipe binders and have used composition notebooks since I was young. I am a lot like you where I love to save items like packaging and memories my problem is I have them in Different places. I especially like the stickers for making dinner! It sounds crazy but thinking about combining my menu calendar to my composition notebook is a big step (so many years of routine) and my lists oh girl I love list pads! I always get free cute ones at our local bookstore. I’m already looking forward to sending some in your Christmas card 😂 but I also use the little Walmart spiral notebooks -it’s so satisfying checking off chores. I’m going to try this for June at the end of my composition book. tfs hope you enjoy your Memorial Day ❤️

I love everything about this. I always end up using planners as dated journals and pasting monthly pages into a comp book or CR Gibson journal. I never had a name for this but I've been doing something similar for years. I do a lot of collage so it's tons of magazine cut outs and photos and my poetry and to do lists all thrown together.

Love this! Now, will I do it for myself....lol! I too have always wanted to be the "planner girl". This has inspired me to think about doing something like planning...sometime. But really, this is an awesome idea. I'm going to start small and take stickers and ephemera and slap them into my existing, basic spiral bound planner. And I'll try to just relax and be free flowing with it. I should be a therapeutic experience since I typically struggle to have fun and play. I think I do it on a very similar way - and yes, I am on KZbin, too I used to use a kind of standard Bullet Journal style since 2019, the undecorated one and very decorative ones, too, and tried to find out, what works best for me. Then I started creating and using Junk Journals, to store my memories-ephemera to say so. I think it was in 2021 or 2022. Recently, just a few days ago, I started to glue my memory-keeping-ephemera into my Bullet Journal, too, so it's a similar style to yours in some ways. And you were the inspirational person with some of your other videos and it feels so so wonderful! TFS!!
