Right. I think it's because much older houses used furniture pieces in bathrooms instead of vanities with sconce lighting. I guess if you have the room it's fine, but seems cluttered for such a small space.

I cannot agree more with you both that there are other channels, other avenues for obtaining commentary on politics, etc. I am so grateful y’all are strictly light and bright; it makes you the shelter in the storm for people whenever they need it. I used to watch another channel (a skincare one with a great personality behind the wheel) and the creator RUINED IT by getting political; I had to stop watching and unsubscribe. It means a lot that you are so self-aware and focused on a particular goal for your channel. It is very much appreciated and enjoyed! 💗 Keep up the great work! P.S. Love the cat in the tree behind Laura! 😂🤣

There are times when I appreciate when a creator makes their political opinions known, so I'm aware that they don't believe people like me deserve equal rights and I can unfollow them promptly... but there's something about gardening channels in particular that is just so pure and wholesome that I'm glad the ones I watch stay within the positive gardening realm. Sometimes we just need to look at pretty flowers and foliage.

This is a random idea so take it for what it’s worth… but maybe on the days you want to take off, you could repost some of your videos that you are constantly linking in the comments of videos from previous years to answer peoples questions. Make small playlists as you go, like a drip irrigation playlist on the highlights channel. Just a little thought that came to mind because I am always going back through previous years catching up on all the videos I have missed or rewatching educational ones or my favorite ones! Then you could still provide a video for those who want one everyday, but you don’t have to create them from scratch! Might be a terrible idea, or might give you a starting point on other ideas to fill in the gaps if you want too. Thanks for all you guys do. You are making a difference in the gardening world and the lives of so many people! 💖

Hello Aaron and Laura, so appreciative of you guys sharing your experiences and knowledge with everything gardening. Please continue to plant trees...with thousands of hectares of trees burnt/destroyed here in Western Canada; not forgetting California, the Amazon, etc. Our earth is in dire need of more trees! Looking forward to your teaching videos😍

PLEASE do a tour of the old and new! That would be amazing! One of my favorite things to watch in your older tour videos is when you would show a clip of what it used to look like. It was always such a wow factor!!

Another fun and fabulous video! I just love the highlights show; I find myself snuggling in to my sofa knowing It's going to be long and informative. I love the banter between the two of you since we can learn a lot just listening. You have no idea how much joy you bring to your subscribers. Laura, your kind and sweet spirit to say nothing of your constant enthusiasm makes our own time in our gardens seem more enjoyable; and Aaron is so delightful....just love his easy laughter! Regarding the Hartley....have you ever thought of a water feature just outside of it? It would just add a measure of a cottage look. Just a thought. Anyway, thank you so much for all that you do...we love you!

Yes, I remember how lovely it was. I thought I remember that Laura thought that they would put it on the new property. I know that wherever they put it will look amazing! Thanks, Jane

I think going down to 5 vids on the main and a recap per week during the summer and winter lulls is totally reasonable. This way you don’t feel pressured to come up with video ideas or guilty when you have to skip a day. Then come spring and fall when you’re busy you can go back to 6 on the main channel. Regardless, we’re happy with what ever you put out! Also, anyone else enjoying today’s game of “spot the Russel”? 😹

I inherited a house with three beautiful oaks and a giant maple. The oaks hold their leaves and drive me nuts. Once the oaks finally drop their last leaves in the spring, I then spend my time literally on my hand and knees removing the pinwheel seeds, that the maple dropped, from my landscaping beds. Awesome shade trees but a nightmare to live with!!! Thanks for inspiring me. Your videos have literally changed my life!!!

As my precious mom would always say, "There's a time and place for all things!" Most times for whatever reasons negative would be showing it's ugly head and she wanted to keep everything as positive as she could. God rest her sweet soul. Words I will live by always. I come to your all's channel for comfort many many times. Thank you!

These video are awesome and never too long! Aaron, I totally get the "lines" thing about the Husqvarna BUT after three years of not mowing and absolutely no weeds...I just look out the window a giggle at the lines and say looks like a five year old cut my grass lol So worth it! Also, regarding the height of the grass....I have the smallest unit set to where I'd say my grass is about three inches high and being as we also had no rain all summer this year (unusual) and the hottest ever where Temps were in the 30 to 44 degrees Celsius all summer, I still only needed to water an hour every 5 to 7 days. My grass is so thick you can walk on top of it :) you might consider the largest unit Husqvarna sells, I believe it is gps controlled also...such a time saver and the weed control can't be beat! Just my story...you do you! I just don't want to see you guys burn out :)

Lamps in the bathroom are definitely a certain type of home thing, from what I’ve noticed. Those with more traditional homes or style of decorating always seem have one on a small pedestal table in their bathroom, but if you are more contemporary in nature or live in a modern home then, no, not common.

When you spoke about trees communicating with each other it brought to mind the documentary Judi Dench did with the BBC. It is on KZbin and is so interesting and amazing. So much information about trees through the 4 seasons. Science I had no idea even existed. You and Aaron will enjoy it, I’m sure. Watch it on your TV on a big screen. I can’t even begin to tell you how wonderful it is. It is beyond description.

My house caught fire. So, I'm sitting here sorting things and listening to you & Aaron. Hearing you talk, takes my mind off my situation (thank you). Laura was talking about brick-laying. And I heard both of you not sure what to call stuff that has little stones & sand. Most of the time they use ground stone or ground slate under bricks. Thanks. You're a good program to keep my mind off my sadness and pain.
