The reason why you have so many positive comments...is you and Aaron. You both are positive, realistic and little sassy sometimes :) You two are the eptitome of what KZbinrs should be. I think the answer for Laura going to someone’s garden club is: instead of booking her for a speaking engagement, have a garden tea party where everyone can drink wine, admire the garden, and just chit chat, maybe a Q&A.

Great idea I hope she sees this! It would help people picking top comments to be answered too

Y’all are amazing. I love every you do and how gracious and positive you both are. Laura I 💯 % agree with you not answering questions directly. It’s so hard to do especially since you have people from all over the world. Every location is different. Zones are not equal. Zone 8 in Louisiana is not the same as zone 8 in Washington. You I get little rain where as I get on average 58 inches of rain annually. But mostly Because a lot of people just don’t give enough information when asking a question. I cannot begin to fathom how long it would take you to answer even the smallest portion of the questions that are asked of you. I think the best answer is the one you give frequently as someone from your local garden centers. I also encourage each to find gardeners in their areas, the local extension office, garden clubs and master gardeners in their area. Drive around and look at landscapes that are lush and beautiful. Pay attention to what seems to grow best in your area. We don’t have local nurseries in my area so when I started gardening at my own home I went to garden club symposiums. Nurserymen, read books, bought every gardening magazine I could find. I went to my county agents office and picked up numerous brochures. When I drove around to neighborhoods and even knocked on a few doors and asked if I could take some pictures of plants in their garden. Most gardeners love to share their knowledge. I stuck up many long lasting friendships that way.

My gomphrena is spectacular'; I'm struggling with supertunias and superbells. (BTW, I only smell gomphrena right after I water them.) I LOVE your videos. I've gardened all my life and I learn something new almost every video! I think you are charming, interesting, and informative.

The GA Groupie Field Trip organizers did an amazing job! I was so blessed to be a part of the group, have an amazing weekend and make so many new friends. It was such a wonderful experience that I’ll always treasure. I hope at some point down the line you’re able to share your beautiful property again. I’d love to see the new property, it’s hard to believe it was dirt field where we parked, and you sharing that you might be able to purchase it. So glad you did!

I went to listen to you speak in the North West Flower show March 2020. You were EXCELLENT. You are a natural teacher. You need to share your knowledge. We need to be your students. KZbin is perfect as you can pretend there's not an audience of thousands in front of you!

Just heard your comment about being cheered up by our comments. You and Aaron so deserve all the praise we can give you. I can’t tell you how you’ve changed my gardening game. I knew a lot, but you have shown me so much more. You two are heroes to many of us. ❤️

I’m telling ya. We need a mini series where we follow Aaron around and see what his chores are! From keeping the garage/shed’s organized to grass maintenance and even when he goes around treating plants for special issues. 👀

I love the recap video format much better than answering each individual question. I think with the amount of questions you get it would be overwhelming to answer them with a post. The way you discuss the answers and Aaron editing in pictures or clips for visual reference, makes the recap videos kind of feel like we’re all just sitting around having a chat with you and Aaron. Thanks for all the wonderfully positive content you do!
