Love it! My Dad bought a Predator GT in 84! It was a T-top grey with maroon interior. Sold it it because my older bro was getting in too much trouble with it. Not many people know about the Predator, it was a little blip in Mustang history. Back then that little thing out ran alot of cars light to light with 232 HP.

You certainly have yourself a true dream car of mine! That Predator R is beautiful. I like the fact that those wheels were actually on the car when bought from dealer. I really do not like any of the factory/dealer wheels I’ve seen on other Predators or Predator R’s. The original buyer did a good job on opting for those wheels. I would love to find an 85 R or Predator R project car but you don’t come across too many Predators/R’s that are not already restored, especially an R. I have rebuilt and partially restored a 93 GT about 12 years ago. Wish I had kept it. Fox body price tags sure went up since I last looked. Again, beautiful car!

Love it. You’ve seen my 83 Predator (#6). I would love to see restoration vids or information. I’ve had mine in my passion for about ten years. It’s mainly been in storage. My late Grandfather gave it to me before he passed away. He bought it brand new in Dallas. I would love to restore it. But my knowledge of cars is minimal when it comes to restoration. So it mainly sits in the garage most of the time.

I love your predator - hope to see it restored one day, or maybe you'll sell it to me :-D
@rileyc5153 жыл бұрын
@@LottsOfVintage Well I can honestly say that I will never sell it. It’s the only thing I have left of my late Grandfather. I want to restore it badly. But I don’t know where to start or have a starting point. Simply because it won’t be at one time. But if I knew that this needs to be done at this price and this needs to be done at this price etc etc. Plus at the same time I’m not being scammed due to my lack of knowledge.

Hi Chris, I just found your channel. Love the story of the ‘70 Mach 1 you found for your parents. Speaking of four-eyed Fox body cars, I still have my 1986 Mustang GT that I ordered from Dearborn in February of that year. It’s equipped with a five speed, air conditioning, sunroof (not t-tops), power windows and tinted glass. It’s literally never been driven on a wet road, or been subjected to any inclement weather. At this point it has less than 10,000 miles on it and aside from all fluids and it’s 3rd battery, it’s as it was the day I drove it home. Google “Matchless Mustang” for the June 2013 Hemmings Classic Car article and road test on it. Beautiful shop, by the way. I’m looking forward to more content on your channel!

Very nice special car. I have a 1984 black GT T- top convertible. It is semi-modified but pretty stock looking with 80,000 miles. Amazing how popular e4 eyed mustangs are. I also have a unique aftermarket for product they put out to convert the front bumper to a GT 350 looking front bumper so you can put fog lights on it. Have not installed it yet been set in the garage for many many years. How much does it cost to have a rotisserie restored done on the Mustang like yours? Tom

This gray-blue Mustang doesn't look like a complete "Predator Mustang".I have an 85 GT for which I got all the badging and striping from various sources. I decided not to convert my Mustang cause I couldn't find the correct Predator wheels. I went ahead and finished my car with a personal touch. I have pictures of an original Predator Mustang, so I'm aware of what they looked like.
@LottsOfVintage2 жыл бұрын
There were a few different wheel options for the predators. In 84 they all had the Carroll Shelby 8 spoke wheels. In 85 you'd see them with Centerlines, ET Mags, and the Shelby wheels. 85 cars had more variance in the way they were built, which can make them fun to hunt down!
