Long comment ahead, but *tl;dr* is that I have no idea how I ended up on this video, but I'm super pleased and quite fascinated. Thank you for all of this lovely information! That said... I remember reading _about_ zines in the 90s (how they were an important part of a few different, newer subcultures, basically considered a representation of anarchy and punk culture from what I remember,) and I remember thinking that it was such a _cool_ idea! I read some kid novel about three or 4 friends who made a zine together, aka a modernized Little Women, but then life happened and the concept faded. Cut to 25 years later with me stumbling upon this video, and I'm shocked by how exciting I find the idea still and how much I want to give it a try!

I have personal zines of another kind. I have a mini zine with me everyday. Front is just the date. 1-2 is What up today. 3-4 what happen 5 I’m thankful for 6 I would write a story about back is to dos und tags. I make one every day finish it before I go to bed . Make a photo and put em in an index box. I tried a lot of calenders, diary’s by stuff. This is the best. I work in adult education. Every event gets its own zine in which I put notes, questions, names, to dos … best way to get track of things!

It’s so crazy how I can go back and rewatch videos of yours I’ve already seen and it feels brand new still lol Like hownwhen I was young I could go thru my art journal and look at everything as if it was the first time seeing it ever and still gave me the same feeling ! I just loveeeeee your corner of the internet , Bre! The feeling of when KZbin first kinda started and we all were so vulnerable with our art. I did not know about this subgenre thanks for sharing! Ironically enough the one zine I made last year would be considered a perzine I guess. It dealt with the subject of me growing up with undiagnosed autism and how I was treated by those around me.
