What is a pony's sparkle? (Mlp g5 Theory)

I am a pegasister, so i love mlp and i know everything about friendship because of this but i also dont have friends because of this. I live in Turkey and everybody hates mlp here so everybody hates me. I love all bronies, pegasisters and ponies. I hope no one is in this situation like me.

i went through a similar situation in 4-5th grade. everyone at school hated me, saying things that nobody should ever have to hear. it was like that for a few years, until i got older and now my new friends accept me for who i am (I'm in 9th grade). sometimes it just takes time, environment, and self-discovery. if you're not in the right environment now, I'm sure that someday you will be.

I think you've got it nailed again Striker. Maybe, perhaps, the sparkle can even influence a ponies magic? For example, if they're in a good mood, then their magic is at its peak, a unicorn can perform their magic easier with less strain, a pegasi can fly faster with more precision, and an earth pony's talent growing plants blooms brighter. Maybe I'm just hopeful. 🤷‍♂️

That's a really good point. It would be amazing if thier abilities were effected my their emotions. Plus, I believe that's how starlight's and twilights magic works at times.

We've seen magic influence unicorn magic through Starlight before too so that may very much be a thing! A good Sparkle helps with good magic.

my thoughts on it don't really go too deep, but i believe a "sparkle" is similar to an aura. auras can change in color depending on the person's mood or chapter of their life. and it's not necessarily "magic", but an energy you can observe. i don't believe it's only exclusive to unicorns, but maybe they have higher natural ability to see it. just like humans, some people naturally see them easier, but anyone can train their eyes to notice it. and i believe a "sparkle" is moreso similar to a positive aura. in the 5th generation izzy refers to the color almost as if she genuinely sees it. but rarity says "you've lost your sparkle" as if she's just referring to the pony's physical demeanor. kinda like how people say "you've got such a positive aura" but don't always mean that they literally see the aura. just some food for thought! hopefully this made some sense?

i think how unicorns see sparkles and how ty lee from atla sees auras share allot in common when ponies get happy they have a sparkle or a more bright one same thing with auras. idk maybe i have watched too much avatar

In my opinion, the "sparkle" is a play on the color that you can harvest from a pony. Rainbow factory style. That's also why Izzy is concerned about the pegasi "stealing sparkles"

I imagine the ability to see a sparkle isn't set to be universally consistent, so some unicorns are better at it then others [maybe this is one skill twilight fails at?] also the sparkle/luminescence could be the aura of the pony, but it 'shines especially bright' when they're happy, so the two get viewed as the same thing

I think the principle of the sparkle being happiness does make a lot of sense. Not so sure about all unicorns being able to see it, though that's not impossible. Either way, it is interesting that, despite the lack of magic in Equestria, Izzy was still able to see a pony's sparkle. That tells me the sparkle either isn't related to magic, or there was still *some* magic present with levels too low to actually use. Either way, your video definitely gave us more to think about ^^

I think it really is a part of the magic left behind. It doesn't seem like all magic was gone since adult ponies got a cutiemark, and those are kinda magic, so it wouldn't be far fetched to asume that Izzy seeing the sparkles is kind of a magic skill

A.K.A. Something that shines them birghter when they do the thing they love the most. We later get evidence that they're cutie marks shine at that moment too....... so....... That's my theory at least-

There have been rumored instances in real life in which people were able to see auras coming off others, and the auras would differ from person to person. Individuals who had this alleged ability have been often given it after an NDE, in many cases, and that this might be related to how some claim to 'see colors they haven't seen before' during NDEs. Also, auras weren't necessarily attached to just happiness, but can reflect an entire personality and sometimes even quirks. An example of a 'quirk' would be clumsiness around mechanical things, usually indicated by a very spiky aura. Those who claim to see auras believe it is the light of a person's soul itself, and that only those sensitive enough can see it like we see normal light. As for the unicorns in Equestria, I don't think all of them have this ability. It's most likely rare. However, this is not evident in most of their population. When Izzy is using her ability to see luminescence, I often think of the Pokémon, Riolu and Lucario. They basically have the same ability. Various characters throughout cartoons, anime, movies, etc. have been known to have such an ability and the auras/luminescence was often related to someone's inner power or spirit.

You guys should figer out why Twilight Sparkle had Sparkle in her eyes in first season of mlp gen4 part 2 of Nightmare Moon when she and her friends confronted Nightmare Moon she had to recognize the happness she got from her friends then the Spirt Elements Of Harmony got reveled and then Use To Destroy Luna Evil Spirt which they called reform so Spirt has lot to do with spirt to sparkle.
