I am an absolute fan of you both, great seeing you together, thanks for this! I have used both activities now with many different groups and agree that they work really well!

This was fantastic! I love how helpful the criteria is. ItThe story of your name is an amazing activity. It develops instant connection and I also have said in groups that if you don't know the story of your name, you can tell a story about your name (how its prounounced, unusual spelling or name faux paux event) as another way to share about their name.

Fantastic twist or alternative to the framing to open it up and include everyone!

We have all been in meetings where people wear those stick on badges that say hello my name is… instead of having people right their given name, have them write the adjective that they feel describes them best. This will give others so much more information about the person than just their name. In addition, people can be as deep and revealing or more basic if that’s comfortable for them.

1000% ... have you seen these that I just launched a couple months ago: weand.me/product/we-connect-sticker-name-tags If not, I suspect you just may love them.

Great content. The Story of Your Name is one of my favorite conversation starters. And, I appreciated Chad's edition of hey just make something up if you don't know. I think that's brilliant and takes all the pressure off. I've used it several times with international groups and that becomes particularly fascinating. Thanks so much for this great activity.

So great that you two got together. Also so dynamic how this presented. It is a masterclass. I am going to do the swap card this tuesday at at PTO meeting where they want me to help the parents of the pre-school connect with each other. I will probably do the Name one also. Thanks looking forward to part 2, 3, 4 and any other that you guys do.. Very grateful.

These are great ideas. How would you adapt it to hybrid settings where the team is a combination of in-person and virtual?
@chad.littlefield5 ай бұрын
We definitely were focusing on in-person here, but heaps of virtual adaptions and ideas here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hYHHgKaAlsSjhc0si=zBOycisNKEPYddTs
