As a muslim. I say. i respect christians. Because ya follow god and ya believe in jesus. Which of course. Muslims believe in jesus too. muslims never saw christians as "fools" Cause. Christians are just like muslims. They believe in god. And they think they are right. Which i respect. I love true christian people. And by true. i mean The true ones. Cause there is "christians" That make fun of muslims and jews. Which of course is a thing that christianity never said. And jesus was never a fool. He is a great guy. And he had miracles. But as muslims we don't believe he is a god. in the end. everyone will see the truth in the end. May allah guide us all💓

Such a persecution complex.

It’s not. It’s quoting from scripture. We’re not walking around feeling sorry for ourselves. Clearly it says that the cross is foolishness to the world and that we are to be considered fools by the world if we are truly wise. This doesn’t mean everyone treats us or views as fools. It just means many will and we don’t care. Jesus in his day was viewed by man as a fool and he still is.

The fact that the writers of the Bible imbued persecution complex into their scripture just means that they were observant enough to know that people who make unsupportable claims get persecuted. Flat earthers, Bigfoot hunters, people who vehemently believe they’ve been abducted by aliens, they all use that same refrain of: the fact that we’re being persecuted means we’re onto something. A persecution complex doesn’t necessarily mean people are walking around feeling sorry for themselves. It’s usually worn as a badge of honor, bc people think their particular belief is so amazing that they’re part of the privileged few who are privy to such special knowledge.

You do understand that they were persecuted heavily to the point of all the apostles being murdered for simple preaching the gospel? The Roman Emperor, Nero, was known for lighting Christian’s on fire in his garden. They were under constant threat of death for the first 250 years of the churches existence. Christian’s are still the most persecuted group in the world. No flat earther or big foot believer is being murdered for their beliefs.
