I had a section covering Glamour up to the last day of editing when i learned that it was no longer canon. Never really liked the Glamour stuff for Yordles anyways so kind of happy it was removed

Is it no longer cannon? I'm glad as that was one big drawback to have yordles as a playable race in the mmo Edit: it appears necrit spoke with the IP manager and she said that glamour and anti-yordle discrimination in Piltover was no longer a thing. Despite this glamour is featured across many stories and since the lore seems to be a bit confusing at the moment establishing what is and isn't cannon with redcons every 5 minutes it isn't really clear whether glamour is still a thing or not, specially since it was mentioned in the mageseeker game. A quick explanation of what glamour is for those who don't know: Glamour is a magical enchantment (whether it's a casted spell or a potion is unclear) that makes other people perceive yordles more favourable. So if people were scared of yordles, a yordle using glamour would appear human to them. But if a person doesn't dislike or fear yordles glamour won't have any effects on said person and the yordle will be seen as a yordle in their eyes. Moreover glamour is something that a yordle may choose to use or not, so some yordles like Kennen and Poppy choose not to use glamour. Moreover as people become less biased against yordles, if people just see them as another magical creature that inhabits Runeterra glamour would become unnecessary. So this could be a way to keep glamour as cannon making sense of old and new content alike

@@MagicButterfly549 Glamour is even still on the Bandle City page! I even talked about Heimerdinger's invention to control their Glamour. An ignored part of yordles is that every region has a yordle of importance who basically becomes a paragon of everything the region stands for, Poppy and Heimerdinger are founders of their nations, Kennen is one of the 3 Kinkou grandmasters, Kled holds the most military titles in Noxus, Amummu was a prince before being cursed, even Smeech in Arcane is a chem baron, the higest seat of power in Zaun.

From knowing little to nothing about lol lore at the beginning of the year, To now knowing yordle lore… thank you honestly! Watching arcane and then wanting to get more into runeterra lore it seemed a bit intimidating because of all the years worth of lore already built up but your videos are so helpful in digesting that lore. This video is so much better than it has any right to be, I had no idea yordles had so much lore. Honestly I think your lore videos explain the lore in much greater detail and accuracy than necrit's. Keep up the good work 👍🏻

veigar is so hard trying to be a evil overlord, but he cannot be truly evil. what he understand as evil is more like a caricature of true evil. instead of making evil deeds and hurting people, he go around killing evil wizards, bandits and monsters to show off He is MORE evil than them, but in doing so he is always helping people, so mostly go with the flow and play along to him since they are gratefull of being saved.

I haven't played Bandle tale yet, but I have played Ruined King and Convergence. I beat the former and am still playing the latter. I really can't wait for 2XKO and whatever they end up calling this MMO. I love fighters and RPGs. I was gonna start LoR, but with this new physical TCG that Riot is making, I not sure if it's worth my time now.

Out of curiosity how do you feel Kled lines up with the theory of Yordles prospering off of hope seeing as he’s seen as a war criminal?

The hope of victory and I think a lot of Noxians love War. Similarly to Yops in Mageseeker who is with a group going through a very hard time, people are dying, but she seems to thrive in it.

I find Yordles being completely immortal problematic. It would make more sense to me if Yordles were actually spirits that gain a physical body when they go through a portal to Runeterra. Maybe they could physically start out as adolescents and grow old slowly with no serious breakdown of bodily functions and/or natural end of life. They could still be killed or die through large amounts of physical trauma like falling off a cliff or drowning or burning in fire. When they do die physically, their spirit self would automatically return to Bandle City, and they could start their physical life over just by using a portal back to the physical realm. I would even say that when they return to the physical world in a new body, they have no recall of their previous life. They can remember their previous lives if they really work hard at trying to do it and/or have some strong emotion/trauma trigger their memories. Kinda like continuous reincarnation. This memory loss and renewal of life only happens if they die in the physical world. They can go back and forth between the physical and spirit through portals, with no problems!

Yes, finally some Yordle love! everyone and their grandmother usually only talks about everything else! QAQ Hell yea, my 2 fav. Veigar and Vex got some screentime. (also poor veigar, can't catch even a short break... of short jokes QAQ) And about demon more on the yordle side.. how about a Sloth based demon? XD too slothy to not want just peace and quite happiness

The Bandle Scouts don’t have a Rule 34 that we know of Charles… and no where does it say that the spirit realm is shaped in rings. If there was one that would be hell I think that would be more of the Demons than the Yordles Bandle Scout Rules Rule 42: Never let 'em corner you! Rule 102: Practice makes perfect! Rule 154: Never fear the unknown! Rule 276: Denizens of the woodlands are our friends! Rule 354: If it's fuzzy, it might be safe to pet but certainly isn't safe to eat! Rule 417: Make sure you're out of the blast zone!

I had a Kled section in the draft but I’m trying to keep the big videos to around 30 min and Kled’s lore is really just specific to him. I should have added him to the Yordles who find homes in Runeterra though I still hope that add Kled in 2XKO
