What is Ad code in Export Import Business ?
In this video ,I have shared the information about Authorized Dealer code and why this Ad code is required for export and import.
An AD Code is a 14-digit numerical code you can get from the bank with which you have a current account to run your import-export business. The code comes printed on a document with the bank’s letterhead, in a format prescribed by the DGFT.
Exporters must register their AD Code with the port or airport from where they intend to ship their goods abroad.

Bangalore se Mumbai aur Delhi me import/export manage karne ke liye aapko har city me alag address ki zaroorat nahi hai; aap customs clearance aur logistics ke liye third-party service providers ka use kar sakte hain.

Yes aapko by sea export karne ke liye bhi AD CODE lena padega. As per my knowledge, jab tak aap by sea export karne ka AD CODE nahi le lete tab tak aap sirf by air hi export kar sakte hai. I would suggest ki aap kisi aise vyakti se puccho jo import export business mein expert ho aur bohot saalo (many years) ka experience ho.

Is ad code is bank specific. What if bank is changed do we take new ad code.

Yes it is bank specific. If your bank account changes, you will have to register your AD Code again to continue generating a shipping bill number.
