No you absolutely wouldn't! She's an amputee by choice. I don't think that subject you sit well among preschoolers...

Get yourself a knee scooter girl! I use the knee rover brand. I have an indoor and an all terrain for outdoor. You'll love it!

I'm also ambulatory! I have firbomyalgia, an issue with my right knee, spinal issues, and a crap ton of other health issues. I can walk around my apartment with my cane or my sitting walker just fine, but when I go to the store or places I have to walk far distances I use my wheelchair. If I try to walk too far, my pain levels flare up to an excruciating level. Unfortunately, we don't have a working vehicle, so my husband has to help me get to certain appointments at the hospital or clinic, or to the store, or whatnot by pushing me in my wheelchair.

Ah yes, so privileged to have to use something for mobility…like, yes, but also, it’s not like I’m privileged because I have options between therapists to treat my ptsd. It doesn’t change the fact that someone else messed me up or that most therapists in my area are VERY religious and only tell you to pray more.

Please don't take this question the wrong way but why wouldn't you make your house wheelchair friendly meaning making everything accessible from your wheelchair in the event your prosthetic leg no longer works and or you don't feel like using it that day?
