You said that the council must have a court (liability) order to give to an employer to support an AoE for unpaid council tax. However, the courts do not provide an order. The councils issue their own. In fact, I can’t recall the legislation, but I think one Act mentions that the liability order does not mean a court has determined a debt exists. Has anyone ever seen a physical Liability Order issued by a court? All the councils do is send a ‘Notice’ of Liability Order, which is a slight of hand 🤔

Hey there , In my recent pay-slip the deduction are being made . So I contacted my payroll and I found out that I got fined because my traffic offense made by me 8 months ago but the usually fine for that offence is £300 but I got fined of £900 because I haven’t reply to the letters it’s happen because I have changed my address recently until that time I haven’t received any letter the letters came after i moved from my last address . Any suggestions whom should I contact ? As this amount is to much for my wages

You will need to fill out form N446 with the details of the new employer, there is no fee for this.
