What a great explanation of an SOP! You truly make KZbin worth searching for the term "Productivity". Keep it up, Layla!

Hi! Recipe - wonderful association for our team, now I started to talk on their languages, before they didn't understand me and I was angry about that. Layla thanks dear. Greetings from Tashkent, Uzbekistan!

Thank you! I've realized that I already have experience creating SOPs, just without knowing it was called SOP. In my previous company, we referred to it as documentation :)

Wow, I never considered using a recipe as an analogy for an SOP, but it's perfect! And agreed 100% on not using videos in SOPs. Much too hard to update, etc.

I love this video. It was a catalyst for 2 really interesting ideas that are ridiculously unrelated ---- and these thoughts : Processes built, refined & referenced by the person who will use may feel like losing control o an owner/expert, but it is actually giving the doer skin in the game and tangible accomplishment. Its not that they start from scratch they see your version. Consequently freeing yourself from a process leaves room for growth new processes & causes a need for SOP adjustment. who doesn't want more time and opportunity to create things they like and have skill in? lol ending on the coat-tails of a musical analogy you made in previous video, Layla, adding more instruments to a song arrangement only works if you have people to play them..... then practice playing together and provide them sheet music to read and notate. inspiring and way to entertaining to take notes the first time through.. its my pleasure to watch twice ;-)

What's the best way to post an SOP in the clickup board? I have client lists instead of folders (trying to push to creating client folders but RN they're lists...) but want to make sure the SOP is easily accessible but not necessary to have on every single task for the client..I hope that makes sense lol.
