We have lost our identity for almost half a millennium. This young Republic and chaotic peace we have now has been paid by blood. Only a fool would think it's just a piece of territory we are talking about. There is no compromise on this because once we set precedence, we might have nothing left to pass on to the generations to come. Look at Laos. GDP of around $13B and more than half of $10.5B of the country's debt, is owed to China. With the principal and interests still accruing, China practically owns them. Like how Cambodia who cannot go against China's interest. What China and Russia want is to shatter the current world order and eventually divide it under their influence. I believe controlling South China Sea will be the first part of that. Because once China isolates this part of the world through debt, fear, the largest navy, or whatever, it will mean The World going against the US, NATO, and remaining like-minded countries. Call it crazy, I don't care. We all swore before the flag. Remember that. I will not sell my freedom for a bit of comfort that I'm sure won't last long.

W AR against China means to the last Filipino. USA would like to see that from far away. Philippines won't be Asian Ukraine. It's going to be worse. There is no Asian nato to support the Philippines.
