Hey I’m moderately autistic with severe ADHD This varies person to person but encourage talking and it’s not that bad! We are different an never use his condition to your advantage don’t be embarrassed of him and it shouldn’t damage him intellectually I’m a top student. He may struggle when out and about sleep may be a issue and as he gets older noise cancelling headphones or ear defenders might help him! I hope this helps just a bit

Do not self diagnose, never. Psychology disorders are always the extreme of any particular behavior. If u have one symptom doesn't mean u have the disorder. U must meet many other 'criteria' which they've not shown in the video.

I have been treated bad by people because my child has autism. At the school they did not want him they fought with me for years by bullying me intimidating me sending false reports about my child so they can make me take my kid out of the school. N.B. the kid is a quiet and good kid not agressive. They just did not want my child because the child has autism and they see it as problem for them so they did to us the most unkind horrible stuff. Psychological war, putting the kid in separate classroom or outside. People have done to me and him the most horrible stuff just because of autism. That was their excuse. Things i would have never imagined myself to do to anyone. I have met all of human cruelty because of my child s condition. I also entered a relationship with a person wouter van der g who i later realised only wanted to use me for free roof free food and to bring his dad to my country. And all this because his dad gerard van der g and grandma helen van sha were telling him i worth nothing because i give birth to autist kid. All these while i have found job to wouter gave him a place to live for free and cooked for him each day while i even cured an std he got cheating on me with a woman his dad gerard van der ga told him to sleep with. Also wouter van der ga has beaten me on several occasion when he wanted to go out with other women while living in my property becayse as his dad told him i worthed nothing because i have an autist child. When i took wouter to courts for his beatings and the damages to my property he has done, he put a girlfriend of his to call on social services on me on false accusations that my kid eats from the garbages. Imagine we are talking about wouter van der ga a guy who was eating each day at my house fresh food i cooked for him and he was seeing the food was fresh for him and my kid with my money. This van der ga family lived in middelburg until they came in my country on my expenses in my property.

I still don't exactly understand what autism is. It just sounds like someone who's socially awkward, but can't anyone be socially awkward if they are around people they are not comfortable with. Like people think I'm quiet but no I'm just not comfortable around you. If you put me around people I'm comfortable with who aren't douchebags then I will talk more

Autism is a behavioural health condition. It effects a person's ability to socialize and understand atypical behaviour witch means common behaviour. I have autism too. I was diagnosed in 2016 I was 31 years old. It's unique for all autistic people. We live in our own world. Atypical people move about in a bubble they create, autistic people have no bubble to keep boundaries. It causes stress and anxiety from the pollution atypical people create through their activities. I also have select mutism, meaning I have a fear of speaking so if I get uncomfortable with a situation I can't communicate. I have to deal with my anxiety and then try to communicate. Also, why do people complicate everything? This video has too much detail that is unnecessary. It makes it harder for people to understand autism. It's not that difficult to understand. All you need is to talk with autistic people like myself. Mostly autistic people are above average genius. Like myself. I learned on my own because no one could do it for me. I teach others how to communicate with me. Because autistic people have their own world's we can't settle well within the normal spectrum of reality. We shouldn't have to conform to the normal because we are not built to be normal. ☺️👍

Funny, I discussed many things that were discussed here in my channel. I’m a grown man with autism among other mental struggles and I created my channel to try and show how even with my struggles I lead a decent life. I try to show the world through my eyes and how I personally deal with struggles. It’s all in hopes that if someone struggling sees the videos it may help them. Of course I always encourage and emphasize professional help. But what’s discussed here in general is spot on. 👍

When I was younger I came off as a very quiet child, never spoke, wouldn’t go join larger groups due to the explicit sounds & other strange behaviours unlike my peers who were considered as “normal”. I used to live in a small village, and while I was there it came to the stage where their conclusions narrowed down to me being selectively mute, but when I moved to a bigger city these behaviours became more frequent and began distrusting my learning. Eventually, I went to CAMHS and they done this test to see if I lied under those categories for having Asperger syndrome (Autism). However, I lied because I was 9 years old and never understood how much this could help me, I was honestly so scared & thought they would do something to me (of course, I do have a greater understanding now). I’m almost 16 years old and I’m going back to how I acted as a child, I’ve been referred back to CAMHS because it’s came to the point where I’ve been self harming without realisation when stressed. So, I hope with this I’ll get a proper diagnosis.

43 years old here. Had to pay out of pocket for my diagnosis. Anyone who claims America is this great society for all is ignorant at best. Because of the stigma If anyone in the USA is diagnosed with anything or committed a crime of any kind he/she will be stigmatized by that and then every one will treat him/her as someone who should be avoided or need special care I think this is " bad awareness " characterizing modern societies , that is no mercy for anyone who is different Regardless , anyone should make it through the society and not to hide away because this is how u will feel normal and better with socialization

So I have Autism. Yes I’m Autistic, it could be your sensitive to noises, or struggle reading or writing and maybe in class you use a device instead of writing all the time like me. It was much easier to write a letter to John F Kennedy and mine was the top of the class. But that doesn’t matter, autism makes people unique in a particular way, like me for instance i don’t struggle to read or write I can do that just fine, but when it comes to noises my ears start to hurt. Autism means you can also have Abilities like football reading writing and all that sort of stuff but for me football is easy any sport is easy and so is school work. It can also lead to being easily annoyed for instance someone in your class may distract you a lot preventing you from getting good marks. For me it’s okay but also not okay. Jack… most annoying, he never shuts up 😒 he’s way to rough and he’s the one who gets into most trouble and he has dyslexia. If your wondering, can autistic people fall in-love yes your answer is yes they can it doesn’t matter who with if you want to be gay or lesbian, wait.. I’m going off topic. Right hope you found this helpful. I’m sorry if it was bad I tried

This is my lifestory of Asperger’s Syndrome I hope you see this comment. It would mean a lot! Before you read, I need to say something about my experience with Asperger’s Syndrome. It's been said as a disease almost like living on an alien planet. People told me I have a gift that I'm fun, genuine, smartest person to meet while others chose to not understand me as an Aspie because people are self centered who chose to not understand me and would rather not talk to an Aspie like myself. There's been times I've cried because no one can understand the circumstances of having Asperger’s Syndrome and when I have had meltdowns people were afraid of what I might do like a cage animal. But later I had to control my instincts so people wouldn't have to be afraid of me at all beneath the shadows. I've been learning how to deal with relationships as to how to handle them and how to deal with them as a whole. People may not understand me fully but I have to accept that no one is me and they can't forsee my world like I can. I was diagnosed with Asperger’s at age 2. I couldn't talk, I couldn't speak very well. I didn't talk as much but rather have meltdowns. At age 3-10 I was put in an early childhood development class to help me socialize with other kids who have different disabilities. I couldn't speak very well until that age. I had to take speech and OT to help with my talking and my concentration with my ADHD. I always looked forward to getting out of class because of working with the other teachers that have helped me how to concentrate, how to socialize with people, and even to make friends. I wasn't like the other kids at school. I would be by myself on the playground in my own world pretending I was a superhero like Spider-Man or the Fantastic Four. I just wanted to be like them and not have to be like the other kids at the time. That's what was difficult was trying to keep up with people. I felt like people didn't want to get to know me for who I was throughout middle school. It was rough because everyone had their own groups where I was pretty much by myself some of the time while I join in but I felt different because of who I am as a person. Back then people didn't really take their time out for me because I was made fun of for liking certain things and even the band Linkin Park. That was my comfort zone was Linkin Park because their lyrics spoke to me as I got through tough times with keeping up with friendships, gaining new ones, and being myself was difficult to do because I was above and beyond, trying to impress people because of my disability. I was in Special Education because of my Autism but really it's Asperger’s Syndrome and ADHD that I've came across to having since I've developed later gradually. I had an IEP plan where I had special accommodations that I had so I can learn easily. Later I was diagnosed with OCD. That took a toll on how I was thinking and what I was holding in my mind. When I got into High School, it was hell also. I've had more meltdowns, couldn't focus as much in the first two years, people still didn't have interest of getting to know me as a person for no reason. I've become jealous of people in conversations because I wanted the conversations to be about me not the other person. I realized I was the problem and I had to overcome that. I told my story about Autism on the intercom at my high school during my sophomore year because I wanted to let the school know I have this disorder and how it can impact the world so people can know that you have to be unique to find out who you are and where you belong. It was also Autism month when I did it in April of 2019. I even put posted it notes on the lockers to spread the word about Autism. My last two years was more of a developmental stage of trying to get to know people more. I had to gain independence on how to ask for help since it was a struggle when I was younger and beyond. It was hard to get out my feelings since I've felt like people think they know what I can do but they didn't until I applied it to my life. My senior year felt like I was on the top of the world that I can actually be more social with myself. I was able to have friendships along the way. I was able to be social. I was able to focus and work hard more than ever before. My case manager gave me one of the most inspiring quotes that was basically my whole year. He said "Don't let your past make you bitter, let it make you better." and I could resonate with that quote so much because of past mistakes that I've overcome. That's what drove me forward to finish my senior year of high school. Overall people thought having the ability to remember movies and dates was the coolest gift to have. It helped people to understand my disability better in a better light. Some think I don't have Asperger’s but I really do. They just don't want to think I'm different. Having Asperger’s is like being on an alien planet like in Arthur. It's a neurological biological persuasive disorder in Mary and Max. It's a whole different worldscape for me. It doesn't stop me from being social. It's just the way I talk that makes people interest or sound. It's the world I share of myself that people want more of who I am. I guess people like me for different qualities and the type of person I try to be. I may have many flaws of myself but I need to keep trying to improve on my socialization. Don't be judged if you have a gift to share the world. If you read this comment and life story, you're not alone, don't try so hard to be, be yourself! That's all you can do. Don't let people like you for a gift they want to have but rather experience your life story in their shoes. Life is a puzzle. If you're a good fit, you'll fit. If you're not a good fit, you won't fit. You are worth it until the very end of your life!

Question:is there a cure for autism or in any way reseaches on it?
@daniellizotte6110

No because autism is not a disease but a neurological difference, so you cant cure them. It is like people having blonde hair instead of brown hair, you cant cure it because it is just a difference.

so Autism is not a disorder, just a behaviour characteristic. (I can't seem to find any video that shows me that this is something unnatural) I don't know why people use this term and say they have this and that "disorders". I have big problems even going into a supermarket or drive a car because of loud noises. I just can't concentrate on one thing. But still I wouldn't consider someone as myself as having a disorder. Do I have a disorder when I am not that sportive as others or when I don't want to go in any school club? If someone is different I can't understand why people call that disorder since everyone is different. Nowadays healthy people just invent millions of new "disorders" to get advantages somewhere. Or they are able to get some likes on social media like suicidal girls crying on the internet for fame. What a disgusting world we live in.

I work in a factory with a 23 year-old autistic man. He takes 5 half-hour "bathroom breaks" every day, outside of regular breaks. If he gets bored with what he is doing, whether it needs to be done or not, he'll just do something else including standing around attempting to start conversations. He starts cleaning up way earlier than everyone else at the work station. He will halfway finish his stock and cleanup then spend the remaining time standing around, playing on his phone instead of helping anyone else. How much of this is autism and how much is laziness? Is there anything I can do to change his behavior. I'm not his boss but I'm also not a fucking babysitter. He's been shuffled around all over the factory because of his work ethic and other behavior issues. The bosses won't do anything about it and the place won't fire him.
