Great video, you did about the best one could do. Unfortunately for most Glenda says it all and leaves it up to the individual to figure it out on a personal level. Glenda told Dorothy, "You've always had the power to go home, but if I told you you wouldn't have believed me and had to experience it for yourself." Dorothy now knows should she ever go looking for her heart's desires she'll look no further than her own backyard (within). It's literally that reconnecting with oneself that opens one's eyes with a new childlike curiosity. God (Universe, Higher-self, interpretation varies) makes himself available to everyone, but not everyone makes themselves available to God. Many are trying to grow through other's enlightening experiences without truly having any of their own. It's like borrowed or stolen magic and it never last, but the magic from within is forever. It was said in a movie "Life is tough, that's the default setting" and I say If we're not here leveling up then what are we doing? The game is going to be played whether we participate or sit on the sidelines. Most people on the sidelines never experience the real game, but stepping up to the plate lets the game know you're a player and the real fun begins. Imagine having that question of what would you say to your younger self happen to you right now in the present moment from your future potential self. Once you realize your not crazy and you don't have to do this alone and have never been alone one's perspective totally changes. It's like going from 1st person to 3rd person in a video game seeing things from a higher vantage point of perspective. To any Doctor Who fans out there, it's like experience the present moment (Doctor Who) on a timeline traveling forward with your potential self (Higher-self played by River Song) traveling backwards on said timeline to create that potential. The experience is new for both parties as each has a part to play to achieve the goal. It's not about being given all knowing information (boring), but experiencing it play out together. Trust me the first time I got River Songs famous line "Spoilers" when I asked a question, I couldn't help but laugh. Obviously an oversimplification of things and there is no one size fits all to the experience. One has to be open and available for certain experiences to happen but for most being of the world has become very distracting. The path to achieve a certain level of consciousness is going to be locked behind an experience. Like in a video game the next level is locked behind a door and we need the key. Our job becomes finding the key that allows for experiences that will make us ready to experience what's behind the door. There's no skipping levels as the experience needed would never present itself for that to be achieved. It's why some people have certain revelations in their lives and others do not. Eventually we realize we no longer have to move mountains because the mountains already know to move! Sorry about all that, and please take it with a grain of salt and if none of this resonates to anyone who read all that no harm, no foul. This is the best time to be alive in this amusement park and if the ride you're on is not fun try another. Just remember the longest lines in the park aren't always the best rides so to speak, but we love to follow the masses. Good luck! 🙏❤🙏

I'm not sure I can relate to the idea of awakening as a path or a goal... I don't think I've ever seen (or felt) myself as being (consciously) on a path of spiritual awakening. I definitely can relate to having sudden "awakening" moments (your cat cuddling analogy is just perfect!) ...or should I simply call them blissful moments? I don't know... it's probabily more about letting go than striving for...? What I can share is that, for me, the most powerful "vehicle" for experiencing Unity is through music. Although even that, I souppose, entails some degree of "identification" (?) Yes, perhaps more an experience (Awakening) that does not necessairily need to be identified as such when you experience it. Maybe something like suddenly entering "the zone" while playing music... when you're in there you feel One with all that is (part of a Whole)... you feel you're a "channel" for music, it's not you that is playing music... Music is playing Itself through you, and when you find yourself "in the zone", you want to stay there, you don't want to leave! (or you want to "be allowed" enterance to it every time you play!). And of course, often times, if you get there and stop and look at it, identifying it ("Yeah! I'm in the zone, I'm in the zone! Finally!!") then it slips away, you lose it...

I would totally agree with identifying it as being a stated goal. I love the video game analogy as it makes these kind of discussion easier to understand. I see it as a new stat or skill to be leveled up. Just like with the rest of the stats in an RPG it's doesn't need to be on at all times but having the ability to access it is key. Imagine being strong enough to lift 10 tons and crush cars, having that attribute activated at all times probably wouldn't allow you to pick up a child without crushing them. That's why in comics most superheroes have to train to control the upper and lower limits of their abilities. From my perspective it's about having the ability to access it at any time it's needed but not necessarily stay in that state or awareness. Having greater control over it allows for that stat to branch out allowing for other aspects to explore and evolve. Let's go with your playing music and the awareness behind it. Starting small and just picking a favorite song and now incorporating that into fixing an appliance (just an example). You realize that while listening to that song it's almost as if the appliance fixes itself and time seems to stand still as if you're on auto and then you realize you're done. You've allowed the music to put you in a zone to amplify your mechanical abilities and now you always play music when fixing something. Usually these things play out naturally in most people's lives without them actually realizing what they are doing. You've created a dynamic where you've allowed a song to connect you to the zone without actually playing it by being in a state of awareness as if you are, while allowing it to seep into other aspects of your life. A very simplified version of what's actually going on obviously. That state of awareness allows for other perspectives to become available and seen through a new lens. You're actually merging an altered stated of awareness into your everyday life. In this day and age, becoming a monk or going into the wilderness isn't practical and one must incorporate these things into there life and not just specific moments through premeditation. Any awareness or information accessed by way of this on the other side is to be bought here and used to solidify it into one's reality through experiences. Some things are hard to put into words for another to understand if they haven't experienced these things. In my opinion, the more naturally we are about to achieve these states the easier it will be to incorporate them into our lives on a daily basis. I have nothing against other methods that people use but if one is not ready it's like trying to skip a step which can't be done. Which is why I believe some end in addiction, being institutionalized or even tapping out altogether unfortunately. There's more to the awareness than just being in it's state as it wants to achieve a potential state growth and yet one has to consent for this to be allowed. Similar to when people unknowingly create thought forms that seem to grow on their own not realizing that they are actually feeding it. We always have a choice but if we're not ready we sometimes run from what we're given access to or the world we're in becomes so dysfunctional from this perspective if we're not careful. Being in the world but not of it is maintaining that balance within oneself and their environment. So many end up alone because those they love weren't part of the process and once something is seen it can't be unseen. I don't know if that made any sense while just scratching the surface. So many want to leave because they don't realize that they are not in the game. Once you're in the game is when the fun begins, but getting there and actually being in the game doesn't happen overnight and can take a lifetime to realize it. It literally slows down and extends one's lifeforce almost similar to the fact that superheroes don't seem to age in the comics and of coarse I realize that's just a book. It's all about vibrations and frequencies and manipulation of energy that we all perceive but ignore because this world keeps us distracted and many of these distractions we've created and love and enjoy but a distraction nevertheless. Probably haven't read all this but I just thought I'd share. If I sound like a crazy person let's just chalk it up to that, but if you can see beyond the words and get anything from it, I wish you luck! Remember to have fun! ❤

Interesting you point out chronic pain, I actually cured mine with a TMS practice that led me to the possibility of awakening. It's all inter-linked. Mindbody conditions are still curable, please look up Dr John Sarno if you are interested. Cheers! Good video.

I agree, and in some cases, this can be true. I have had a similar experience with healing pain and other conditions. I believe it is sometimes required for both - attending to your physicality and attending to the (usually false) stories you tell yourself about it.

It's a longish story with lots of practice and twists. I would say some modern resources that are great are the practices put forward by Angelo Dillulo, specifically his book Awake! It's your turn. It gives you lots of tools to explore the nature of mind and awaken. ❤
