Weird fact: when I first played a sword and shield I had literally just finished my sun and moon play though like the week before and when I saw eternatus my mind instantly went: oh my god an ultra beast- I know it isn’t a UB but when I caught it I nicknamed it UB:Eternity

BRUH!!!! I went several months not having played sun and moon when I started SWSH, and even I saw the similarities!!!!! When I first saw it, I was like "OH MY GOSH THEY HAVE ULTRA BEASTS IN SWSH TOO?!?!?!? THIS IS SO COOL THIS IS SO COOL THIS IS SO COOL!!!" and then I found out it wasn't an ultra beast, and nothing made sense for it. I think for an ACTUAL pokemon design, it's freaking awful. You can hardly tell what it's supposed to be. I personally can't tell what it's supposed to be, where its eyes are, if it has arms and/or legs, etc. It doesn't really look alive, in a normal pokemon world's perspective. But if it were a UB, it would fit right in!!! It coming from a different reality would justify its strange design, and its lack of an apparent, coherent body is similar to UBs like Blacephalon and Xurkitree!!

You know how Eternatus was the scrapped evolution of Poipole? I think that it's still an Ultra Beast. In the lore it says that Eternatus came from an asteroid about 20,000 years ago. Considering Celesteela also fell from space and is an Ultra Beast,it makes sense from this Asteroid to have appeared from an Ultra Wormhole somewhere in near The Pokemon Planet.
