Thank you for the support and the open mind! I've got a ton of really cool malt and even a pH experiment already planned. I would expect more to follow after those 4 different experiments if not more in between those.

You are probably sleeping during this reply, but Happy New Year and happy to have viewers all of the world. (I read a lot of British news from time to time to see how other people see the world that aren't in my own backyard.)

Cheers and Happy New Year! You are off to a great start with this honest unfiltered video. Your enthusiasm after 10 years of brewing is something that I hope I will have as well. I have only brewed for a few years and I always learn something from your videos. I checked out a few of your Igulu and none of the pinter videos. Not something I will get into so as you said, don't watch them anymore. I like your style and really enjoy your channel. I am looking forward to what you will be doing in the coming year and I am sure I will continue to learn a lot from you. Thanks Mike!

I'm a couple of years younger in brewing than you. I never went through the one gallon phase. I did make a few smash batches. (Kinda forgot about those.) I got stated because of my local sears store after Christmas sales on Mr beer kits. Digressing . Anyway .looking forward to your videos. I enjoy them. And like you .I am continually learning. Cheers 🍻

I like your approach just continue to be transparent and authentic with people and the channel should continue to grow.

Thank you! I try to be as authentic and non-biased as possible with everything in my life, including on my channel. I know I'm probably a bit less picky or grumpy when I do beer reviews than most people, but I can easily express that if it is awful like that pickle beer. 😂 I'm excited for next year and some of the experiments I've already been preparing for.

Started in 2004 and like you continued to improve my education, equipment, DIY projects found on YT. Currently landed on Anvil 10.5 without Pipe then added BIAB inside. ❤❤❤ You be you brother and don’t worry about keyboard commandos. Been subscribed in the beginning ❤❤❤. You replied to a personal email about an issue I had and you genuinely gave me the fix ❤❤❤. My 20 year anniversary brewing. 🎉

Awesome, and Thank you. Sorry if I was wordy in the email, as I have ADHD and OCD when it comes to beer brewing. I will quickly write an entire book when trying to answer questions regarding brewing. If it was equipment-based, I try to avoid making choices for people and instead write a book about the pros and cons of every system. 😂 Yeah, I love my Anvil Foundry systems for their ease of use and simplicity. Nothing to complicate my day or create a problem in my brew day. The BrewZilla has me a bit concerned, but I'll get past it. Have an Amazing New Year!!!

I am new to home brewing and I enjoy your informative content. I started off with the pinter and soon after with the IGulu. I visited their showroom and was impressed with the unit. I'm learning a lot and hope to progress to the next stage. Thank you.

Awesome and I think we spoke in another comment earlier this year. I'll actually be at CES in Vegas next week working with iGulu! They invited me out to help talk about their product while getting to check out CES for the first time in my life! I've very excited to attend.

Thank you and looking forward to learning the system. Wondering how bad my first efficiencies will be and how much I can push them up whatever my starting point will be. Also, looking forward to using the expansion parts to do a few split batches.

LOL… I’m about your age and I know what you mean about F’s to give. Keep up the good work. I bought the Anvil system after watching your videos and have about 30 brews on it. It’s an easy to use system. Thanks for sharing your experiences
@BitterRealityBrewingКүн бұрын
Thank you and the Anvil was my go to choice way before Anvil Brewing starting sending me goodies to test and review. Simple and quality. It is funny how much we care when we are young, and over things that we really shouldn't get so upset about, but with age comes wisdom and common sense to pick your battles. I bought my wife a jar of "F"s last year and told her she only had a limited supply to give out. She didn't get it then, but seems to this year.

Happy New Year! I'd like to see you brew on the Clawhammer system and review it. The modular aspect gives me a lot more piece of mind over the others out there. Cheers 🍻
@BitterRealityBrewingКүн бұрын
I've actually tried twice so far. I've had two brewers who offered to bring their ClawHammer Brewing system and let me brew on it. One canceled at the last minute due to a family emergency, and the other just forgot to bring it and hasn't been back as I think I upset his wife by making her watch her kids for most of the day on the weekend while he was brewing beer with me on the Spike Solo. 😂🍻 I'll try again early in 2025, maybe asking if anyone in Jacksonville, FL has one and wants to brew on the channel with it. Happy New Year!

Guilty as charged... I honestly not interested in the igulu product. But yes I do watch the video.. As a 3 Vessel HERMS user myself, not interested in acquiring a new or different system. Those who unsubscribe because of a new video or because of a product they don't like.. well it's their loss. I've learned a lot from all your videos. Keep up the good work. Change the content for the good ofnthe channel 👍. But don't change yourself. Thx

Thank you for the great feedback and support! I'm actually looking to leverage the iGulu's as a tool in a few experiments. I figure I can brew a 5 or 6 variations of a 1 gallon brew (using 2 pots and a colander), and then use the iGulu systems to ferment and serve them. I can easily see the experiment translating to a larger system like you 3 vessel HERMS system. One experiment will simply be 5 or 6 almost identical malts by different companies to see the differences. I have 3 total malt related experiments to conduct through out the year, and then the pH one that went south, that I really want to redo and put that info out to help people with sours.

Imagine blackmailing someone that they are going to leave your channel if you brew on system XYZ again. That is a special kind of stupid right there!
