Check that there isn’t oil on the MAF sensor, sometimes if you overfill the oil and it shoots back on the MAF , that can happen. Happened on my f430 it would cut power out and get sluggish. Cleaned my MAF sensor and it ran like brand new. Easy thing to check

MAF sensor - TBH I hadn't even heard of it - but my F430 symptoms were exactly the same as yours with random gear selection, esp from 4th - I spent a fortune on it over 2yrs & lost a fortune trading it in - thinking it had been fixed by my local Ferrari garage - but no, the problems came back for the new owner - I am still very glad I got shut of it - it was a lemon and I'd never buy another. The 488 which replaced it has so far been fine - fingers crossed !

I had some weird e gear issues with my 06 gallardo. Wouldn’t go in reverse (would make the noise like it would), and sometimes it would pop into N while shifting fast from 3-4. I replaced the battery, had the computer re learn its thing, replaced the accumulator (same as f1), and bled the system. Nothing fixed the problem. Turned out to be the e gear position sensor!!! So the mechanical parts were fine. The computer just didn’t know what was going on so times. Idk if this helps at all but thought I’d share!

Did you test each fuel pump for power and pressure at the rails? Wouldn’t have been related to anything you did, but if it sounds like it’s running on one bank and stalling…? Also, not sure if doing a relearn before doing the clutch bleed would cause the shifting codes. And perhaps bleeding the actuator also may help?

Car manufacturers are scum !!! Because they want the most money out of loyal clients they started using plastic parts even inside the engines. I’m 53 and grew up loving muscle cars and just cars in general and when I would work on old Camaro’s and Vettes and mustangs there were hardly any plastic parts in the engine and engine bay the interior different story but that was so they could sell cars cheaper then Germans and Italians so people would put up with cheap interior as long as the engines were powerful and last a life time fast foward and even merc’s and lambo and Ferrari put more plastic in the engines then metal explain to me how a $200,000 S63 or Audi S8 have plastic timing chain guides or just plastic at all ?? I was told by a an engineer within a top 3 manufacturer that it comes down to making more money on replacement parts and cost of labor on maintenance if the life of a plastic internal part is 3-5 years and the warranty is only good for 3 years they know they will make a killing on the replacement parts out of warranty lol and this is why aftermarket companies sell all metal replacement parts and guarantee them for life literally life … the sad thing is the car manufacturer could just use the better parts and help out there loyal clients but they love ripping us off …. It’s sad and funny how any garage mechanic a man on the weekend used to be able to swap an engine out or a tranny out or change there own brakes or take a fuel filter out and blow through it and put it back in hahaha in 2024 you void the warranty if you change your own oil lol god forbid you need to replace your head gasket lol it would cost you 100$ if you do it yourself but Ferrari or Mercedes will charge you 5-7,000 the part is 25$ but the 700 and hour pay rate for the mechanic is where the money is haha …

My 2008 had 3 sets of manifolds (headers) within 28k miles. Not good enough for the outlay. Poor engineering & reliability. All cars have faults, but Ferrari exceeds in this department
