It's hard to draw a conclusion in my opinion. The 5-20-20 prices were affected by the early stages of the Covid pandemic. It's such an anomaly, I think we need to relook at the 2022 spring prices for a true trend.

Model year for F-430 is relatively important, given the change in standard equipment which began in 2008: a 2008 is more desirable than a 2007, for instance, if the asking prices are similar. Mileage is important, but you should take a look at number of previous owners: more is worse.

Not really, I have seen 2005 models in better state than 2008 models, also it depends if the car had a few fixes over the years (exhausts manifolds and F1 pomp for instance)... you can find a well maintained 2005 mode desirable than a 2008 F430 depending on its level of care.

Good video. I absolutely love my Scud and you are right it’s hard to have a quantified response given so few data points, especially given you didn’t take into account things that swing the value significantly Ike color (resale red), carbon fiber package, scud stripes etc. Each alone can swing the value $10K on such a niche car.

If at all possible it would be great to see these analyses on the prices at which cars are trading hands versus asking. Asking prices tell us very little about the true value. As buyers of these specialty cars know, the asking price often means nothing. Garbage in, garbage out.

No. Most serious collectors of Ferraris want the options to be from factory. That said I bet you would get your money back on it but it would never be the same value as a factory optioned car. I searched for a long time to find the optional matte gold wheels from factory on my Scud even though I could have powder coated the easier to find gun metal wheels gold.
