What is Chai Tea Latte (Spiced Milk Tea Masala Chai)

Cinnamon and cardamom are definite must-haves in chai for me. I also really like adding star anise.

I have to admit I have never tried a Chai with Star Anise. One customer told me that they were allergic to it, so I never put it into my Chai. We do strange things at times. There is a popular wet chai in Melbourne that use Star Anise but I feel wet chai doesn't release the full flavour of tea and spices. Have you ever tried wet chai?

All great spice additions and for me, I like the heat of freshly ground peppercorns as well as some shavings of fresh ginger when brewing on the stove top.
