Seen all videos from top designers and countless "science" youtube channels. Yet a video of a dude in a church calmly explaining what colour is made me understand. Wish this dude was my teacher. Fantastic, outstanding & amazing job.

I still don't understand how exactly is light absorbed on a nanometer level.
@universalpiano2411 ай бұрын
light is made out of photons , these photons are realeased when and electron inside and atom change it's state, like when it drops from it's position or the opposite, so if an object absorb light means that these photons get consumed as energy by the electrons of that object, and if the added energy usually gets transformed to some other form of energy like heat to keep the balance
@furkelnurkel2 ай бұрын
When a molecule or atom absorbs light, electrons are excited into a higher energy state, a higher energy orbital. Things in our universe don’t like high energy states so they will release this energy and return to their “ground state,” a more stable configuration. This energy is released in one of two ways: released as heat (non-radiative) or released via a photon (radiative). The former occurs in most everyday items. These are non-fluorescent materials while the latter occurs in fluorescent materials.

Is the angle of the waves make up the cross like the heat of hydrogen and sound and carbon or oxygen when 90 ° we get visible light if above 90° is spirit or soul or consciousness moving away and blue it get closer that is why the day more alert while get sleeper at night

when i see something like this i always think how similar animals and humans are. Like the eye is such a unique and crazy thing that can do so much. I mean, what must have happened in the evolution do develop something like that. And all the animals have it, such a specific thing, but still the same in humans. Seeing different wavelenghts in different colors could be something aliens couldn't even imagine to be possible

what does a world with no color look like? or our vision is just a simulation of computing?
@mlongstudio2 жыл бұрын
Color is a product of our eyes… and it is subjective to the receiver, so there’s no inherent color to anything. Light is energy, but it isn’t particularly anything until it is received by our eyes. So yes , you are correct that our vision is a simulated interpretation of the input received by our eyes and processed by our brains. But this doesn’t in any way reflect reality. It’s just our version of reality.

it is important to realize the brain makes color. the photons coming to the eye are not colored.
