The CM presentation by you is fantastic, so simple, broken down into bits that can be easily assimilated; if only there were more videos dedicated to CM instead than as part of PM, that would be fantastic.only CM as a subject. Many thanks.

Hi, Loretta. Thank you. It took me a while to figure who you are from this, and I had to look up CMADS (not sure I found the right answer!). Look out for a message on LinkedIn, as I only have your old email from the business where we first met.

When you say "defining the items in a system" are you using as an example the list you described at @3:08 ?
@Onlinepmcourses24 күн бұрын
I am not sure where I say "defining the items in a system" (you don't give a timestamp). However, the items in the system are the components of the system - what it's made up of. The list at 3.08 is the information to gather and record, about the configuration of those items

@@Onlinepmcourses reference point @0:32 through @0:49 You begin the statement with "Defining". I want to make sure I'm tracking when you use that the term "defining". All the others are definitely within scope from my experiences.
@Onlinepmcourses24 күн бұрын
@@niss2142 Ahh, I see. I refer to defining the configuration of items in the system - not defining the items individually.

I know that the PMBoK uses the terms, but I find 'quality' and 'scope' management, and the use of other abstractions in the PM triad unhelpful, indeed, unhelpfully static. So, rather than quality, I use 'performance'. Acceptance of a product must be due to it providing the function/capability by its meeting the stated performance requirements. Concrete but situationally dynamic language is fare more helpful, IMO. So, my project triad is about producing out-turn Value in terms of Investment, Performance and Delivery. Configuration issues feed into both performance and investment, and obviously can have an effect on delivery. Delivery of course one can manage; time no one 'manages'.

Your videos are very useful, but when you speak, you are emphasizing every word and it is very tiring. If you change your narrative style, you can have much better videos.
