What is a core satellite/investment?
In this video I break down the nuances of core and satellite investing and why a satellite is not a necessity within your investment portfolio, but allows an investor exposure to sectors or asset classes that they have an active view will offer extra potential for return (either by subject matter or location).
The approach allows for a more active involvement within a more passive investing model, whereby risk vs reward are more balanced.
