Great video tks, But note that at 11th minutes, the SCFH stands for Standard cubic feet per HOUR, (SCFM would be per minute)

Thanks for upload this video bro I am understanding for easily for what is the CV
@fleeglekeet6 жыл бұрын
At 1:30 it was said that the valve would have a lower CV as the valve tends to "close". Perhaps I am missing a point. I would say the valve is "opening" when traveling from 90 deg. to 10 deg. Thank you for this presentation.

Very good explanation. ..Please also post video of how to calculate six torque and MAST for Ball valves.
@ValveChannel7 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your support. Do you mean How to calculate Ball valve torque? most of time ball valve will use torque wrench to test valve operation torque. valve operation torque are difficult to calculate very accuracy.

Question: I would like to understand more on your tips that the valve more accurately between 30% to 80% opening, why is this so? Or does it actually depend on the valve trim configuration, and one must get advice from the valve manufacturer? Thank you, this is a very good video..
@SH-bl9wh4 жыл бұрын
I didn't fully understand your question. Do you mean why is Cv value different for 30% opening to 80% opening?

thank you but i have a question here you have said the max CV is at 70/100 of valve opening , so if the valve gets 100/100 of opening what we can say about CV in this case? wich value will take?

Good video. What is Xt in the table (at the end of video)? Also, can valve deterioration be found with help of Cv ? Thanks for your time.

Hy... I have one doubt in equation which is usually seen in valves catalog P =( (36 x Q) / Kv) ^ 2 P - KPa Q - L/s I would like to know how 36 constant came?? If it is conversion of l/s to m. Cube/hr, it is 3.6...how it become 36??
