Since youve mentioned na devcomm highlights how the general public can have an easier understanding of information, do you need to be fluent or really good in english? Kasi since we are talking about the common good, the tagalog language best suits the understanding of most filipino. Also may photography classes po ba ang devcomm? I mean yung parang required na may camera ka ganon tsaka same job opportunities po ba ang meron sa devcomm at masscomm? Sana po masagot niyo kasi gusto ko sana mag devcomm. Salamat po

Hi! As Devcom practitioners, it doesn't matter kung anong language ang gagamitin mo as long as you have a clear and concise delivery of information to the general public. But of course, you need to harness your fluency sa English at Tagalog dahil predominant languages ito sa atin. I don't really get what you mean by 'the common good' pero if you want to be nationalistic, go and use our own language. However, you usually need to be familiar with your audience first para malaman mo kung anong language ang favorable at more understandable sa kanila. Yes, may certain higher Devcom courses na mag-poprovide ng lessons about photography. Although, kahit mga freshman years kailangan ng decent quality cameras for your articles, interviews, and other video-related projects. As far as I know, mas malawak ang sakop ng Devcom sa mga certain fields kaysa sa mass comm, so siguro mas advantageous ito kaysa sa latter in terms of job opportunities. However, don't take my word for it you can definitely research more about this. Hope this helps you on your endeavors 😁.
