I have heard dharma described as "purpose." Your explanation of dharma as the "nature" of being fits beautifully with the concept of purpose. Being true to our nature is our purpose. Or, our purpose is to be true to our nature. Thank you for your insights.

Dharma is not purpose at all. Purpose is a dualistic term: I need to be this, but not that. Dharma, or god-consciousness has no rules or layout. There is no good or evil, light or dark. You are completely free as a “flame” of god to move, light or burn as you see fit.

Do not think of dharma or consciousness as “nothing” though. It is very much understanding everything. Wisdom and understanding will set you free and only you will know as you progress. It’s not something you can explain.

I'm 69 next week and on my three years path of wellness, paleo low carb and activity. Before I was a engineer, over thinking everything. That ended up in suicidal thoughts and homelessness. The VA saved me, stable housing, an enormous unpayable debt. Karma has been MY lens to repay that debt, see a need, help if I can... There's one caveat - merging with "infinite consciousness" isn't being sovereign. It's merely calibrating to a different set of "higher" influences. Some people don't see that free will is applying discernment to even THOSE energies. Where in the spiritual communitty have we been taught to question what comes from "higher" frequencies? We haven't. It's always assumed it's right and perfect. But like you said, true sovereignity and conscience requires awareness of CONTEXT. And very few beings on the planet openly admit that "infinite consciousness" may have an inability to always empathize with the human context.

Thanks Lioness and Dead Clover. Tbh I'm suprised I got so many likes. I'm getting these little feedbacks lately. I'm glad the things I question in spirituality for a while seem to be concerns for others as well. Makes me feel I'm not as off-kilter as sometimes I may sound in contrast with what are common practices/ideas. If the "flow" and "surrender" and keeping a high vibration was all that was needed to create a domino effect in the world, we'd all be enlightened by now. Empaths wouldn't be used and abused for their love ...no one would resist the light etc etc Discernment needs to be applied to everything. And we must always gauge the progress of humanity, and how teachings and ideas are affecting everyone. The proof is in the pudding.

@@jeanlundi2141 How can Infinite Consciousness always empathize with the human context? It's hanging out in bliss all the time and never suffers. So it can't really truly understand/empathize with our suffering. It just can't relate! I suspect only individuated expressions of God can truly empathize and relate to suffering. Maybe because they've experienced it before at some point without any peace or bliss or spaciousness to buffer the suffering. So they know what it's like to truly suffer! (of course I could be wrong but that's the impression I get about God)
