You can also put two towels over a bar and do pull ups on them. If the end of the towels point towards your body you're training down pressure.

You guys are just awesome!! I have tought about this fore myself. I think in future there will be much more new terminology in armwrestling. For example side pressure I think there will be much more described in detail. Sidepressure with back pressure, sidepressure with pad drag, sidepressure by bodykipping, sidepressure with just arm, and so on....

This is a great video thank you to both of you also I been doing this against the bigger guys in my club the last couple weeks and last week it made I big difference because for me to beat them but I like the way you train with weights to make it stronger thank you again

About a year ago i asked a question about hooking to Coach Ray and he adviced me to train&use downpressure, it made so much difference rightaway... Thanks for sharing the knowledge with us.

Question: Do you guys have any tips on how to improve shoulder bursa intergrity? I dont have the best shoulders but its hard to train them when I constantly get bursitis.

Been doing this for years. Can work riser quite well flipping the dumbbell the other way. Just load plates on the one side as you progress

Janis is literally a top-5 all-time Lightweight. Imo at least. He is has to be 175+ and not 165 right now. MAN LOOKS HUGE!

I thought down pressure was Tim Bresnans style. He pretty much squats after getting the toproll.

Hello Guys, Hey Janis - When you are working on ulnar or radial deviation, try keeping your medial epicondyle(ME) as close to your midline as possible. When the ME moves away from the midline, you lose torque and compressive forces in your shoulder...and therefore your hand. Peace.
