Depends on the pathology............fusion is good if the segment is instable. If its not then this could work but we need data and studies to see if this is a permanent solution or not.

On a regular Rhyizotomy, it's not permanent, at least in my case. I think i got almost 6 months of relief. But the amount of mobility and activity level I got out of it made it well worth it. I still wasn't able to come off my medication, but the relief was worth the 40 seconds of pain I got from being zapped.

Can be done in thoracic area? t5-t6-t7? How long does the relief last? I am having RFA done in those levels, and I get 6-12month of relief at most.
