Gender Equity is a photographic exhibition and an ongoing project.
What is Gender Equity?
Gender Equity is about women and men being treated fairly according to their needs and compensating for the social disadvantages that women have historically endured. Gender Equity is possible when we act together to advance, cooperate, transform our individual and collective behaviours.
What is Gender Equality?
[voice over+pics] Gender equality means that the behaviours, aspirations and needs of both women and men are equally valued, favoured and taken into consideration. Equity is a means. Equality is the result.
Women Empowerment
After identifying and redressing the prevailing power imbalances, Women's Empowerment seeks to give women access to resources traditionally in men's favour and enables women and men to cooperate as equal partners.
This project is an invitation to act together in Equal Harmony. We believe in an inclusive society and in the possibility to achieve Human Unity.
