G'day, Um, well, if it was a Coup then Zimbabwe would be kicked out of the "Club of Sub-Saharan AfriKan Nations..., so what this is was a Military Crackdown on Corruption in Government, a Purge, of all those who'd been treating Muggabe in his dotage as a Puppet - pulling his strings to empower and enrich themselves. And, this Paradigm-Shift was ticked-off on in Beijing last week, before the Military made it's move. The Thymes, they be a' changin'...! ;-p Ciao !

Forcing out the White farmers and investors with outrageous demands for equity, thus kicking out the driving forces behind your economic power and food security, the government deserves whatever state it is in right now. It should be a lesson that a country should reward people based on merit, not race. If they want to correct inequality, there are ways without resorting to drastic measure. You could have programs to benefit Black Zimbabweans, higher tax bracket for the rich, allocate those resources to help create jobs and attract investment.

Nothing to see here. Just another example of the total failure of most African countries to govern themselves. The despot Mugabee will leave and a new despot will take his place, and Zimbabwe's people will continue to suffer at the hands of their own. All under the guise of the "revolution," not withstanding the 20,000 Nedebele's that Mugabee's 5th Brigade murdered with Britain's acquiescence. I wonder how many would prefer a return of the old Rhodesia.

Then only the thugs of a society will be still stick with you until the only person they can feed of is you. The wicked Intelligence knows the power that can be taken by using Conflict Theory by Karl Marx. Only problem is it doesn't last if you are confined to one nations borders. So here is the take on this: Firstly when Mugabe needed to eradicate political opponents who supported him ? The very same military who is supposed to uphold the constitution according to this general is also the very same people who killed hundreds if not thousands who apposed Mugabe. Zimbabwe (Robert Mugabe) was a military controlled government pretending to be a democratic country and in their constitutional view if they don t like the successor its their duty to uphold it. When Mugabe killed black Zimbabweans who opposed his rule they helped and supported it (Hypocrisy as best) This take over stems from the fact that the deputy president was fired by Bob a person the military intended to succeed Mugabe is the only reason for this action. Zimbabweans are nowhere as important to them than the so called constitution - they would have protected all Zimbabweans in the time many were killed who went against Robert Mugabe. This is obvious, Zimbabwe will never be able to have a free, fair election process if there is a military who decide who the successor must be. It may look like and election, simply because the international community wants it, behind the scene its actually an appointed person heading the country appointed by the Military. Zimbabwe obviously understands the democratic principal of and elected person by the people for the people very different to the rest of the world. A military is A political and does not remove a head of state - the voter has to do that in an open, free and fair election. The African Union is also pro Mugabe - thus the reason they came out saying they will not or never accept a power shift done by a military takeover. Both ways its a F-up and people in Zimbabwe will continue to be screwed by their government. Show less REPLY

The so call "Crocodile" don't need to be the leader either. He was supporting the policies of Mugabe, so he is probably equally as corrupt. Zanu-pf must go too. The people need to be the one to chose the next leader by voting that person in.

How many times is the west going to cheer on a coup? Sometimes the alternative is worse.
@dothedeed7 жыл бұрын
That's the logic the west always uses to install dictators who brutalize the population. A transition to democracy is always worse for us but you scream about freedom for yourselves.
@yarpen267 жыл бұрын
Actually, either way this plays out, it will be beneficial for the West and not just the West. Obviously if that new crook they put in power tries _anything_ to fix the economy, things will improve. But if he doesn't, the global economy doesn't give a fuck about Zimbabwe, it's a country with literally no significance in the international trade and politics and so its further downfall will be of absolutely no economic import. If there's a bigass civil war then at least the black supremacists down in South Africa will finally have to shut the fuck up about imitating Zimbabwe and their country might _finally_ start getting onto the right track of not whining and actually progressing. In other words, everybody (at least outside of Zimbabwe) wins.

The Talk show Host states Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa "Has a bad record"... "A Bad Record"? Is a Matter of Opinion... From his Perspective? I guess it would seem like "A Bad Record"... Because it was His "Type" That Ruled Over The Peoples of Zimbabwe for Centuries as if the peoples of Zimbabwe we Animals.. Just because Vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa, did what needed to be done to Correct A Wrong that had Occurred FOR CENTURIES? DOES NOT SHOW A MAN WITH A BAD RECORD... But A Man Of GREAT CHARACTER.. The "Bad Record"? Was before President Mugabe... The talk show host should be ASHAMED for making such a Statement... Incredible....

commonman80 another example of a person using Conflict Theory to gain and maintain power, Mugabe's mass murders and not just the "white devil's", were hidden when he was useful to the West and he would have still been a puppet had news of him actions not got out, only a fool who's only reason for liking him would be that allong with all the people he caused the murders of some of them were white. lol people like you are basically idialogs, who Easily fall cult leaders. So let it out be honest the only reason you like his is caused he redistributed land which was owned by white farmers and allowed the killing if the "white devil's" be truthful it's ok to let your hated out rather than hiding behind a cult leader.

I love Him Because He Forced Whites off The Land THEY STOLE From the peoples of Zimbabwe.. By Manipulating A people that had No Real Idea of The White Thieves Intentions... Then Used Said Stolen Land To Prosper For Themselves While The Peoples Of Zimbabwe Starved. Not Only Of Food? But Of Education And Land That Originally Belonged TO THEM FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS BEFORE THE EUROPEAN CAME THEIR AND STOLE IT... And? If you ask me? In My Opinion? The Resistance Movement Didn't kill enough of them.. I wish they Had Killed Them All... That way THEY WOULD AND COULD NEVER RETURNED... But The Ones Who did Slither out of Zimbabwe with their Monstrous Demon Lives? I'm Quite Sure they Took Their Demon Asses BACK TO EUROPE And, Did the same thing to The White Europeans... RIGHT?
