So Bronny James aka LeBron James jr is about to officially make his way from the los angeles lakers of the NBA to their NBA G League affeliate South Bay Lakers, and ahead of this I thought it was best we discuss the pros and cons of this decision. Now the first thing we need to remember is that Bronny was the 55th pick in the 2024 NBA draft, therefore him getting shipped off to the South Bay lakers makes sense because the G League is a step down from the NBA. It is a development league where players are meant to develop up to the pace and game of the NBA. Which from having seen Bronny's very little playing time makes the most sense. As in a G League roster, we would expect him to get starters minutes and touches, allowing for growth. Plus he doesn't have to deal with the pressure and limelight he carrys from being a laker and the son of LeBron James. Now the issue he faces in all of this, is whether he really wants it and by that I mean whether he will play like the name on the back of his jersye isn't james, like he does not have a guaranteed contract. That is the big question and that is what we discuss in this video.
