The main thing to understand is most people never had money, overstretched on expensive finance to impress the neighbours, modern cars are awful in most ways and no one is buying them. Sort of narrows the market and demand.

Here’s why…….. cost of living, inflation, increase in taxes, higher vehicle excise duty, higher insurance, higher interest rates on loans, less disposable income. Add to the fact that the covid craze is long gone, people have woken up to reality and realised that it’s just not worth wasting money on a nice car when an older one will also do the job nicely. Car traders need to be very scrupulous for the next 6-12 months

Interest rates, the market is pricing in two quarter point rate cuts by year end. We’ve just had one but I don’t think it’ll be early 25 or til Easter that we see another quarter point cut. Ie don’t expect rate to be cut much more. Higher for longer.

definitely talk about the supercar markets, where you see cars such as Ferrari sf90 in the future... I think the best and safest car to buy is Lamborghini urus or a G63 they rarely drop money you can buy one drive 30/40k miles and not loose too much money

The porsche taycann turbo s, you said they have dropped 'Alittle bit' at £68,900 for a 2020 with 11,133 miles. No try using the words 'dropped ' alot for a halo model , it has lost £74,100 in three years or £6.65 for each mile driven !!! £74k drop is resell value dealer is selling for so person trading it in May of lost up to £84k so definitely not alittle , big negative equity territory for someone.
