Hey, happy anniversary! I loved hearing more of your story. I didn't realize you guys had been in Cambodia six years already, wow! I completely agree that being able to learn, in real life, living cross-culturally from a very young age is one of the biggest benefits of homeschooling overseas! The cost of international schools was also a big motivation for my family. Even with buying curriculum...the cost of homeschooling ALL of us was less than sending just one of us to the international school here. I totally hear you on having a hard time finding good quality books in English. This is why our suitcases always have been full of books... :) Thanks so much for doing this collab with me! Even with being in a different country, there's so many similarities!

Awesome ideas for extra learning bout the country u live in. I grew up learning 2 languages. I’m glad our kids are old enough to use technology. We love TGTB!!! We use KZbin a lot as well!!!

We live in SE Asia as well and use a lot of the resources you mentioned. We love TGTB for pretty much everything. It’s so practical to print it locally! I want to try Gather Round sometime too. And yes to packing books in aaaalll the suitcases!

"Teacher to student ratios is fantastic!" 😂👏👏👏👍 MOLD on books?! That's definitely not something we have to deal with here in the states! 😬 The good days DEFINITELY outweigh the bad days! AMEN!!! God first!

Hello, could you share the steps starting from applications on homeschooling from overseas?
@LivingWithEve4 жыл бұрын
We have mold issues in Florida. I actually have mold allergies (but I think everyone does?). When I was a teacher, we had problems with it growing in the air ducts. When you homeschool over seas, are you registered in America? Or with your Country? This was a great collaboration!
@StaceyYoder4 жыл бұрын
Up to this point we haven't registered with either because our kids were so young. Not sure which one we will register with in the future yet.

Great video! So, we are moving to Bolivia for 6 months to a year, my daughter would of been in 2nd grade here in the USA, what are my homeschool options? Schools start in February in Bolivia, I don't want to have her miss a grade

I would recommend checking out homeschool curriculum. There is lots of videos about homeschool curriculum choices on KZbin. I'd recommend start researching with 'The good and the Beautiful'.

Hi Stacey! Can you share a link to where I can download the Evan Moor? Is it still available free?
@StaceyYoder4 жыл бұрын
It was just on Evan Moor's homepage. I just looked its not there anymore. IF you sign up for their email. They often have all different kinds of deals going on. However its not usually a whole book. But you can buy their books by ebook and print yourself which is really nice.

Is English your first language? I've never heard someone pronounce favorite like that.
