The meteors don't come from Sburb, they come from the Incipisphere. Sburb doesn't create the Incipisphere. It creates elements of the Medium (which is inside the Incipisphere) like the Lands, but it doesnt create Skia, Derse, Prospit, or the Veil. The Veil is what the meteors are, which get flung into Skia, which redirects it onto the planet the players come from, which is Earth in this case. These events are not triggered in anyway by the kids playing the game, only the fight between Prospit and Derse. Prospit is always fated to lose, and the Reconning always takes place.
