What is HP+ and Should You Activate It?

Thank you. I couldn't make up my mind whether to activate or not, though originally my intention was to have the convenience of wifi capabilities. I'm going to try doing without for awhile though I do wonder if I can enjoy the benefits of wifi without activating HP+.

Just skip it when setting the printer up you simply proceed and cxl prior to creating your account and you'll be able to print through the device but not through hp smart easy easy

I just setup a new printer and accidentally agreed to it. I was just trying to speed through the setup... Eh atleast it doesnt cost extra money

ThTs where they get u though, doesn’t cost money and saves you 6 months of ink for free. Because i don’t think the average person goes through 1 set of ink cartridges in 6 months… and if they do, they maybe get one set of ink cartridges during that time frame. Then instead of getting remanufactured cartridges for $15-20 bucks ur paying 40 to 50 bucks. So essentially triple the price. They are also banking on the fact that people are either too lazy or too dumb to purchase a new printer.. or buy the same one and don’t subscribe to hp+ the next time around because long term you gonna be paying a butt load for ink. But i feel u though done the rush thru thing too.. but yeahhh casually putting it in the set up and baiting u into buying their ink for as long as u have the printer.. while it isn’t a scam it feels very scammy, misleading etc. HP really did ppl dirty with this one. i’m about to click dont subscribe to hp+ right now in fact
