Have you tried hypnosis? If not, are you curious to try? I tried it (after being quite skeptical) and fell right under. It was just like being in a super relaxed state...you are full aware of what you are saying and how you are feeling...not like a trance (we've all watched too many movies). Would love to hear about how you help to quiet the chatter in your mind! Share below.

I have been a fan of hypnotherapy for years, and it is enlightening to hear more about the science behind it. Lisa is so well spoken and conveys her message so clearly. I highly recommend hypnotherapy and will continue to incorporate that into my holistic treatments and self care routine.

Thank you so much for watching the interview. Yes, Lisa is amazing and so knowledgeable. Hope that more people can realize that there are options that they never considered before.

I saw this interview live, and there was something…”extra” in the room. Very different energy, spiritual, definitely on a different level. You may be able to use Lisa's methodology to heal yourself--by hypnotizing yourself. Yes, I suspect that with a lot of practice (or by working with a hypnotist) one can go into a bona fide "Trance with a capital T" state, the kind you see in the movies, but there are other--I hate to use the word "lesser," so maybe "gentler" or "easier"--states, that, I think, can help us heal. I suspect that by doing the exercises you see Lisa do here in the video, you might be able to tap into these gentler states of mind. I was a skeptic, but Lisa made this very practical, science-based, not woo-woo at all. "Hypnosis is meditation with a goal." Amen. That I can understand. That I can DO. Often when I listen to doctors/experts talk about the mind-body connection, I get a little lost. The idea is abstract. How do you turn thoughts into tangible results in the physical world? It's a jump for me, to try to visualize that. I like Lisa's approach: she keeps it simple, about going for a relaxed state and then thinking about a goal, whether it be to focus on an injury or simply to feel happy--feel that warmth in your gut, the tingling in your face. Thank you, Lisa.

Excellent information and interview! Very hopeful and helpful to learn about the power of hypnosis for holistic health! Thank you so much for this info from this very inspiring hypnotherapist … and for this helpful channel for wellness over 50! We need positive messages on aging from intelligent women like both of you!

I have someone where I work who does counseling and hypnotherapy, yet I've never asked her what that was. This was a fantastic interview. Her analogy of receiving how-things-work manual for appliances and yet we don't get one for our mind, was so true. I will definitely be looking into this further. Thank you for another great topic! And I just tried the pendulum with a necklace I have and it worked. Wow.

Yes isn't the pendulum cool? I still get a bit freaked out every time I do it...but it is a good reminder that we have more power than we think. :) Thank you so much for watching. It would be great to see what discoveries you make if you get a chance to research hypnotherapy further.

Very interesting! I have had chronic pain for over 10 years, & use hypnosis/guided meditation every night at 🌙 bedtime! I suffer every waking moment, but can't imagine migraines at such a young age! 😢 Never have seen the pendulum used to display mind power!! So neat!

I’ve tried every therapeutic modality going and hypnotherapy was the only one to have tangible positive results. I start with a new hypnotherapy tomorrow and I’m excited to see how it can improve my situation physically and emotionally. I found a lot of hypnotherapy train after having positive results, hopefully I’ll get my healing and become a hypnotherapist too 😂😬😁❤️. Thank you for the interesting interview x

This was fantastic! Lisa gave great medical explanations. I've also been reading about EMDR. I suffer from PTSD,, Anxiety, and Depression. I took a course at Vanderbilt on Mindfulness. That really helps too. Unfortunately, I moved a few years ago and haven't maintained the habit. I'd like to try Hypnotherapy.

Question I believe I can heal emphysema with my mind everyone say not possible
@justjess9863 жыл бұрын
I believe we have the power to heal anything within ourselves...we just have to know it and be dedicated to accepting allowing the healing to take place! There' are many modalities out there that can help facilitate your healing but ultimately you are in control, your subconscious mind is...so you have to learn to tap into it and make those changes

I’m not sure this lady has heard about Homeopathy , it a holistic medical science that deals with mind and body symptoms it not like conventional medicine where they prescribe only on physical symptoms.

What are you saying? Your spelling shows a profound ignorance I wonder about your comprehension. Your comment seems oddly misplaced. I wonder your motive.

@@sandralucasmelvoin292 I can't remember why I wrote this to be honest I'll have to watch the video again. At the time I was learning alot that was my motive. As for spelling I'm dyslexic and think I'm doing pretty well.
