Am trying make him to do activities as you say., But my son is7 yrs hyper. If I keep cards toys pen paper infort of him In fraction of s cond he take that and tries to shake how ever he want how to stop this., If he see anything , he just want to take and shakes that ., I have applied many methods as therapist says. @neetha shivashanthappa have patience u hv to wait it will come where ur kid will wait u hv to be regular no skip in ur therapy at home too give him 2 tyms therapy. Before keeping things in front of him fold his hands ask him wait n count 1-10 slowly he will get prompted soon u say wait n count. Be consistent in anything u want him to wait. All d best.
