Yes, I've already been given the heads-up that I am the event planner of the relationship. But I was always planning trips with thorough itineraries for my friends and family. Honestly, it's not so bad if they are kind and gentle. I don't think dating a doctor is so bad if you are also a busy Project Manager that can afford to take the time to make plans for your family.

As a guy in the healthcare profession I have a different perspective. Like I'm happy for you but this is really a learned environment. It's about money and power. It is well documented that medical students in residency seek out their own and well it is what it is. I made the choice to marry out of the profession because I wanted time for family, time for vacation, and especially for my spouse. I don't really care about money and really it's not who I am. I'm about love and being with someone I want to be with for the rest of my life. I have seen it over and over and it makes me laugh. In reality I would rather be poor and happy than rich and miserable. I have about 3 days off a week and my vacation is very generous. Sometimes off for 5 or 6 days. I met many women in my life that had nothing but financial aspirations on their minds. But in all honesty time is a valuable resource and also to my wife. So yeah good for you but I usually have nothing in common with rich minded folks. I actually don't care for them. Oh and have 3 beautiful children and they love having me in their lives on a daily basis.

Yep, also dating a doctor. Last Oct. I had to go on vacation alone cuz she couldn't get a holiday off XD

Neuro sx are the most likely to be cheating on you with an intern. Actually in med school developed many hospital gym romances. Found out 3 dates in the plastic surgeon resident was married. I would study while doing cardio 45 min and he'd pop on the next machine over and talk my ear off. I think he needed to connect and his stay at home wife is not going to understand how "today the OR was a meltdown". Normies just blink at you in silence. Most Dr Dr relationships that break up are in med school 3rd yr, 1st year residency, well all years of residency. They might cheat because almost USA ones are 140hrs a week. We lie to make them 120. I did rads first, they dumped me 3.5 yrs in. Tried anesthesia, let go 9 months in. Sometimes the programs need bodies. Or refill because of self harm a cides. I am my own boss and work for myself telemed as a gp. So I make less money but have much better life. I'm single go figure. Don't hate on me, but I think the US has "work stay up 40 hrs, go to 8hrs of lecture (doesn't work) and push you to get a cab ride home. I have to be back in maybe 7 hrs. My pickup is in the parking structure". If I can order blood transfusions I am driving home sound system full blast. I think this is only USA torture. Windows down -27F. Fall asleep on kitchen floor waiting on tv dinner to cook. The dreaded wake up at 7. AM or PM? Omg I haven't showered am I late?

From your joint instagram account, I would not be able to tell you were a UK doctor as everyone is saying UK doctors are paid really low. But on IG you have houses and expensive looking vacations. What gives? If you don't mind my asking 😆

Haha hello! We started our Instagram account to document our travels (we’ve always loved it), and along the way we’ve also started working with hotels etc which makes our travel budget last longer 😅 we have one house which we are renovating ourselves!
