As a former Mooney owner, E120, E145, and current E175 CA; the 145 is a cozy place to work. It’s not a wide body, but it doesn’t feel super cramped either. The 145 was a very enjoyable airplane to work with. Embraer makes great products.

As a pax, I really hope AA phase out this aircraft in favor of the E170/175/190, A220 or next-gen Embraer. The lack of full size luggage racks are a drag and I can't stand fully upright in the aisle, despite only being 6'2" (hardly NBA material). The row of single seats is nice. And hey, at least it has slats. Looking at you, CRJ-200! But I get that you are evaluating it from a pilot flying point of view and appreciate the perspective. When my pilot is happy, I'm happy.

yes e175 is 2-2 e145 is 1-2

Why would I want to work for an airline that’s represented by a Captain dressed like Chris? Shameful for the profession and conduct unbecoming. It not that difficult to wear the uniform with pride.
