As an Asol main i was pretty sad when i took a break from league, and when i come back my sassy dragon god was tweaked in such ass way. There is mini-reworks coming for Asol and Kayle so we can hope they fix him right to what he was in the past, because they ruined him. They turned an area denial champion into some low key mage with a slight burst.

Starts off with you either autofilled or off roled. one of the laners is feeding a late game carry with their early game champion. team ignores pings or any warnings. you get one shot by said fed laner. team refuses to surrender when the score is 2-12 at 15 minutes, dumbass starts surrender vote before 20m so even when your team agrees 4-1 it still doesn't go through and you have to wait longer Just to leave. and to top it all off, you get flamed throughout the whole match for not carrying.

However, outliers and girls should be allowed to take a non-competitive educational route if they want. I believe everyone's education should be specifically catered to their strengths and weaknesses. Basically, our current education system is built by and for verbal/linguistic non-competitive females. Sorry, this is a bit of a white whale for me.

As someone who recently came back to playing League casually after ~7 years away, I can confirm that this has been my experience. Even if you're very familiar with basic MOBA mechanics, there's a LOT of metagame to learn. Learning every matchup, team compositions, build variants, etc. is quite overwhelming. The online guides and resource sites are much better than they used to be, but it's extremely hard to catch up. I'm an avid patch note consumer in most other games I play -- I like to understand the subtle changes-- but I don't get anything out of them in this game. It's too big.

Didn't he play Overwatch? League is a much better and more mature community than Overwatch will ever be, Overwatch is a toxic cesspit that has the developer pandering to the toxic players. What you notice is a LOT of people hating on league for it's community, be being absently silent whenever there's toxicity in any other game. Competitive games will have salt, but to call it a hellscape of a community is being willfully ignorant of the systemic problems in other games and communities. League is a much better community than Overwatch, the mere fact that with Overwatch people are counting "how many toxic players will be in one game" and League people are counting "how many games till I run into a toxic player" really speaks for itself. The game is a lot of fun and people that "quit" are doing it for attention, if you don't like the game, just don't play it... Trying to make a statement, telling people you quit, acting like you hate the game you spent thousands of hours in is, well, a lie that you're telling yourself. The game hasn't gone completely to shit, there's some bad metas that make the game less fun at times, but it gets better just as often as it gets worse. It's the nature of a Moba, really. I remember finding another game and playing it for a long time and just hadn't launched league and found myself 3-5 years later not launching the game once, but then a friend wanted to try it, and boom I was back in it and having a load of fun with it, even though right as they started thinking about playing it I had it in my mind that the game wasn't good, that the community was intolerable, that all the lies people tell about it had seeped in, and none of it was actually true. Fact is I "quit" league like a normal person, because I moved on. I didn't "uninstall" and "quit" I just... stopped playing it. If you have to force yourself to quit, if you have to tell other people that you quit playing it, when they say "hey wanna play league" and you gotta hit them with the "I'm never playing that game ever again" you're being stupid. Just say "I don't feel like playing league right now" when you don't feel like playing it. Trying to convince others to quit playing a game they have fun with (and isn't actively harmful like loot box simulators) then you're being a bad friend. Be a good friend, don't make your friends think they're not allowed to play a game, don't assert that you're better than them for not playing... Especially when the only reason anybody EVER speaks bad on league is not because of developer decisions, predatory business practices, or some other reasonable shit, but because of "the toxicity" that is not anywhere near as bad as people pretend.

I watched the “So You Want To Main” videos about a year, two years ago. I was trying to find a new game to get into. And they made me aware of these champions and their awesome designs and the strategies that go into them. So I did a ton of research. Unfortunately, it never went anywhere, as my computer couldn’t even handle League. It was that bad of a potato. But now I finally downloaded League yesterday, and I can’t wait to see what future content you put out, Bricky. I may have to deal with the toxic assholes, I may suck for months, but at least I know I can gain some knowledge from your videos, and maybe videos in the future. (Also, beginners guide maybe?) I used to watch this guy during my league days so much along with magicarp. I quit and discovered dead by daylight. Its been years since ive touched league and when i started getting really into dead by daylight i saw bricky on youtube again making videos of it. I didnt realize he moved on too. I saw his casefiles and the nostalgia made me cry. Its like having a best friend in highschool drift away when you move away for college and you end up getting the same jobs years later. Wow, I'm sad to hear you had a rough experiences in the comments, especially the comment on Kayn being wrong build on a 3 year old video. I actually started playing League just before you stopped doing it and your SO YOU WANT TO MAIN series made me stick through the steep learning curve. I have to apologize, I haven't been around. Like you said, League is information overload. Knowing all the champions and having everything memorized doesn't leave much room for anything else. I've been struggling to finish games, the only one I finished recently was Devil May Cry 5 but that's because I've been waiting for it for 10 damn years. Anyways, I did watch your SYWTM: Jhin video every FOUR months. Hope that helped!

Coming from a Kayn main, blue form is just lethality up the ass(nowadays throw in an early % armor pen item so you scale better against a more bruiser focused comp), and back then, lethality on red wasn't bad, I ran it quite a bit just to give red form a bit more damage early game(leath items are considerably less expensive than typical brusier items you build on red, and give more damage overall).

My story with bricky's channel is an interesting one. I was first introduced to him when I started dbd with his case file series, which I found myself rewatching multiple times cuz I just loved it so much. Then I found out he was playing for honor, another game I had started playing, I loved all the lawbro vids and rants and I found myself putting kind of a lot of hours into the game. Finally, when I got introduced to league by some friends, I was pleasantly surprised to find he also had a past playing the game, and through the content he produced, I was inspired to learn new champs and found new ways to have fun. Tldr; bricky has been there for me in all of my game transitions making content and inspiring me though his fun videos to keep playing, and I love him death for that.
