Enjoyed this content. I envy your connection with the sea, have always lived seventy miles inland, visiting the coast is a very special thing. We go YEARS without seeing ocean. Our friends in Guernsey can't comprehend this. My sister and I have this thing that when we ever get to Guernsey we always check the sea. This involves going on to a beach and touching the water with our fingers. Both of us did it without telling the other, freaky.

Been to Guernsey twice in the last couple of months and had a great takeaway from China Red and recommend Puffin and Oyster for a meal. Also recommend The Beach House for a good lunch, but noticed over the last few years how bad the traffic situation has got, need to plan journeys during off peak for a stress free ride!

Cool topic, cheers Ross! However, I disagree in a couple of points with our friend. 1) "Petit train" and little chapel? My God - those are the last things Id do! How about St. Martins Point (Jerbourg) cliff walk arornd the Peastacks with cliff jumping (self too old now) or - what they call it - coasteneering aroung Petit Bot? 2) Sark? Wot? In the winter alright. Dont make any difference then. But in the summer HERM for sure!. There are many more things to do!

As a Londoner who has just moved over, I’d say the most shocking thing was food prices and no budget supermarkets!! Food prices are crazy and not having any Asda, Lidl, or Aldi to grab some bargains is really difficult.
