My vote would be in the family of either star gazier or Jaw fish. I catch loads at Liz river boat ramp on the rocks on the far right, bloody Pest species when LB. Also next episode looks tops, can’t wait

Yea it definitely has similarities to stargazers. I just did a google images search for “stargazer” and can’t find this guy. But definitely similar.

You northerners are fussy buggers. I grew up eating cobblers. Easy to catch. Marinated in vinegar, battered then in the fry. Definitely not the worst tasting but didn't have many other options either. Thanks for the vid lad.
