silence allows the Holy Spirit to reveal what needs to be known to helping others as well as yourself. Spiritual Joy is not worrying about your current circumstances as if you are living in a spiritual realm but still living in the physical as well.This is how I feel as I'm on my spiritual journey hoping to meet other individuals on their journey as well. i am constantly joyful no matter what terrible experiences,,,and it all narrows down to....my JOY is from the Lord.

Hi Chris, I have been a Catechist and Youth Minister for about 30 years or so. I'm still teaching Confirmation classes in Faith Formation etc. I love the youth. I didn't have that as a youth. I want to give that joy to all the kids I meet. I was blessed to find a young adult group that brought me back to Christ and the Church. He set my life on fire 🔥. It's still the desire of my heart. I've transitioned slowly now into an evangelizing grandma type. I've never had my own children because I never married. Close twice but no cigar. The convent didn't work out for me after 6 years of being a religious sister. I started out as a order of delcalced camerlite secular and ended up in as a final professed member. It took me a long time to recover from what I thought was a great failure. Please pray for us at St. Andrew's Parish. We're starting a youth group and young adult ministry. Thank you, Chris, for your ministry God bless you. 🙏

Yeah, God is good, but we dwell on negative thoughts too often. Some people really have it tough or have a temperament which tends to sadness or anxiety. Those who are blessed with a joyful temperament like Chris, please share your sense of fun & silliness for the sake of others, especially children & the lonely... or just try to stop & listen.😍🙏✝️ God bless you Chris.

I think that’s what is missing the Joy of the Lord, because I’m surrounded by pain and misery, and I’ve tried everything! If God wants us joyful, why am I so NOT-joyful? 😢

The idea of a wedding banquet isn't very encouraging. Mine was terrible. The whole time I was worried about 60 year old children who hated each other misbehaving. Constant tension, constant stress, constant anxiety, not to mention we had trouble paying for it even though it was really low budget. Our parents never believed in us, and one even went out of their way to make it harder on us even though we were already poor. A "good" friend who was going to do our pictures, did a no-show and we didn't have many pictures, and another "good" friend did a no-show and we didn't have music. I've watched a lot of your videos, and I really appreciate them, but I can't seem to relate. I was once very Catholic, now I'm just a bit Catholic. I love the church, but I just don't know if I can keep at it. I get more unhappy every year. All my prayers go unanswered, so I've stopped doing it. God doesn't call me. God doesn't speak to me. He never has. I don't believe humanity is good but fallen. I think it was created bad, and we are made to suffer. That's why we tend toward sin rather than virtue. How can this be Adam and Eve's fault? They weren't even real people, but either way Jesus said that a man is not responsible for the sins of his father. Maybe I'm just envious of your upbeatness. You do seem genuinely happy, and I just want to know what you know that I don't. I do learn a lot from you, and hope you keep making these videos!

I love the Church but we were created to suffer. The only way a person could have joy thru Christ is to be in complete denial of all the stuff going wrong and in that case nothing would ever be fixed or people helped because you would be in complete denial that they need help[.
