Do you fish above the twin branch dam or below?

I fish both, depends on what I’m going after and the kayak I’m in, above seems to have more back water eddies than the lower section. The lower section seems to have more steelhead and trout. How about you?

@@onebadshad so far I have only fished below. I finally got a kayak again after years of going without. I want to fish for small mouth was thinking of trying above the dam.

@@Casting.for.dreams Both are good, look for current hitting the bank, structures, and laydowns. Try a swim jig with a Ragetail trailer, the hotter the summer gets the lighter color I’ll throw, all white in the summer will get a smallmouth follower every cast and usually a bite.
