Air ionization. The air above is ionized through microwaves and radiowaves. The fluid or superfluid generates a magnetic field. The negative ions tries to connect with positive ions above the craft. The surrounding magnetic field creates a repelling force, an Eddy current, which lifts the vehicle.

In case you don't know, there are free electrons in the atmosphere which can be harvested. Conductors can act as a spong given their metallic bonding nature which creates an alternating dipole moment of positive to negative, drawing in electrons. I study this shit for a living

You also have to understand you would need an absolutely absurd amount of energy to power a electromagnet to be able to get that strong. This is why I think the US and China has already figured out how to build safe mini nuclear reactors for top secret crafts like this. A mini nuclear reactor would be able to power something like this if it was build right and with enough research and development which should be no problem considering the billions of dollars they are funded not to mention other top secret projects in the past

@@summerbrooks9922 the shape is only unstable if the body is fixed. If you build the body as a part of the engine itself, it can be stabilized. The body has to rotate in the opposite direction of the Mercury to maintain stability. It’s like a giant flying gyroscope toy
