They didn't nerf Sym. There was a bug with beams and server ticks that caused her damage to be dramatically lower than it should be. You get much more damage for less than perfect accuracy, and it's enough that even pro players were getting more work done with her as a result. Her damaged was originally balanced for that old behavior however.

One 4 man on the ground and a bombing squadron in the sky. When Mercy was reworked at first, the res made it even more ridiculous. It has kinda mellowed out now, but on lower ranks pharmercy is still a scary combo.

I'm surprised people weren't doing this before to be frank. Also people should lucio reaper more. When lucio speed boost reaper during his ult, he spins faster and gets more shots out. "They force Vancouver to come to them." This is something that I have tried to teach people during comp matches. You don't always have to spawn push. Infact you're better off point guarding until the enemy team has around 40 seconds left. Before that time, if you're thrown in spawn, you increase your teams chance of losing the objective if you choose to spawn push.

Pretty common comp in lower ranks and quick play for most of this year. It is nothing new, so it cracks me up when OWL is shocked at seeing Mei and Reaper being used regularly together now. Mei + doomfist can be ok as well because you can combo wall with punch. Also you could get a wrecking ball instead of D.va and coordinate dives with doom and ball. You can just setup a wall behind the enemy, boop them into it and piledriver with wrecking ball and then doomfist punches someone into the wall and gets out for free because the enemy wants to focus the hamster.

You first use shift so he gives you max shields, and then you throw our your shield as you dps, forcing the Bastion to either keep shooting, or heal himself... or even force him to move out of position. Either way, Sigma hard counters Bunker. While it's actually DIVE that counters Sigma.

This intro was gold, but the explanation not so much. Missed the opportunity to mention that this comp is only enabled by Orisa that likes to maintain her space and inch close to the enemy step by step. She makes the safe space that mei and reaper work with. This was closely inspired by the clockwork composition, and should be kinda named after them. Also this will hardly be the meta as soon as Sigma comes into the game and live patch hits.

That's what happens when you make a game with archetypes, certain heroes are stronger than others, then you have metas that players set their teams around. It's a never-ending vicious cycle. OW have given players the "choice" of their role with 2-2-2 but all it did was create other problems.
