It’s the Purifi drivers. I imported 8 of their 6.5” woofers shortly after they came out (I had to wait for them to MAKE them for my order) for use in a pair of quarter-wave transmission line tower speakers, and a ScanSpeak tweeter with a custom wave-guide, and a *painstakingly* optimized custom network. 4 Purifis per speaker, with two wired for low-end and two in an MTM arrangement with the ScanSpeak. They can audibly reproduce a strong, clean 20Hz at with remarkable energy. I’ve been absolutely blown away by the Purifi drivers. I plan to build a pair of MTM bookshelf speakers with the same drivers, in the near future. I’m really hoping to see what they do with their amp modules, which are decent for solid-state. My ultimate goal is to build a self-powered bookshelf pair, using their modules, perhaps with an included pre. Exciting stuff coming out of that company. Has anyone here heard any of the NAD products using Purifi amplification?

A10 powered speaker sounds like it has a built in loudness button. I remember the older integrated amps had loudness button or switch that would make the sound blossom sounding rich and full.

In fact, the A10 has loudness control. You can read about it in the A10 home page: "Automatic ISO 226:2003 compensation = Low Level Enhancement - LLE". It switch on below 70 dB sound pressure level.

No comparison. The HiFi Rose (see my review) is the finest sounding streamer I’ve used or found. There is no built in streamer in the world that can compare to it. But it’s a $5300 streamer vs a cheap built in streamer. The Yamaha streamer will keep things sounding “digital” and with a sheen. The Rose RS130 sounds analog, rich, with depth and body. Much more refined.

I've got a V3 and a pair of ZA3's, a single ZA3 is significantly louder than the V3 (both using the 48v PSU) and is much happier with low ohm loads, as mono blocks they are phenomenal, cleaner and more muscular and quieter than my 4 x Audiolab 8200M mono blocks on my Martin Logon Aerius I's which can drop to 1.2 ohms. Haver ordered another pair to rum the Logan's Stat pannel and cone bass individually.

Fossi Za3 or the new V3 monos( not the V3 stereo) Both can be taken a step up with easily upgradadable Op Amps such as Sparkos. Za3s can be upgraded by using 2 as monos,

I'm posting this here and to other audio reviewers as well. My question is genuine and I'm asking multiple places to get the most opinions as possible. Also that maybe a reviewer has not heard each speaker in question but might have heard one or more and have an opinion on it. I'm in the market for a set of speakers and narrowed it down to the following due to price, size and online reviews. I don't have the means to demo each one unfortunately. They are Acoustic Energy AE520, Martin Logan XT F200, Paradigm Founder 100F. Of these which would you rate highest? I'd like any opinions, I'd highly appreciate it. Thanks.

Yes sir. I never understand why some think Spotify is bad quality. It’s not, and yes it gets even better with an amazing DAC and streamer. High res like tidal and Qobuz is good, but highly overrated. I use tidal, Qobuz and Spotify. Pay for and have used all three for many years. Spotify sounds leagues better with the 130 vs any other streamer I have here, so yes indeed. Well worth it for me.
