Family values promoted by Hinduism can foster more stable family units and better community cohesion. The reconciliation between the truth claims of a science-oriented worldview and a religiously oriented worldview is obligatory in this century. The Hindu Academy invokes findings at the cutting edge of modern sciences to promote this reconciliation.

Namaskaram Jay Lakhani. Your warm genuine demeanor and the gentle light of your knowledge educated me when I was troubled and engulfed in my own suffering, and now I've mostly come out it, your influence still suffuses my life. You were the primary, initial influence which helped me understand various Sanatani concepts as an unknowledgeable, confused and horrendously adharmic teenager who suffered from her own delusions, bad choices and false perceptions of reality. Mr Lakhani, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. It's been 3-4 years since you've passed, and when I watch your videos it is both sweet to see you and unearth new understanding, and bitter with sadness at knowing you are no longer here. I genuinely would have loved to sit down and have a conversation with you. I imagine we would have gotten along really well. Now armed with the knowledge of Sanskrit non-translatables and the likes, I can barely imagine how amazing it would have been to enagage in debate about Sanatani concepts with you. You're like the wise, kind and funny grandfather I never had. I desperately find myself in times like this, WISHING I had. I'm crying as I type this now. I'm properly doing the sadhana and celebrations of Navaratri for the first time this year, and stumbled upon this video. While I don't agree with the whole Hindu = mythology concept, and alot of your takes actually, it's still highly informative. :) Thank you Hindu Academy and thank you Jay. The Darwin part is the truth. The truth that is found as we probe deeper in ancient histories and mysteries of ancient civilisations...which Darwin has most probably done.
